I walked into goodwill today looking for a nerf gun. I left with an Omega B-22 XL. Now I have to build a darkroom. This is a slippery slope
i barely ever shoot at my lowest aperture (2.8), only if i have to due to low light. I always shoot on manual settings, i don't trust the auto functions of my camera. At least if a photo comes out bad i know its my mistake and not the camera.
Still can't believe you shoot all manual on an AE-1P I'd be so irritated
just remembered I heard the weirdest pick up line ever at work on friday night girl comes up to me and grabs me, wraps my camera strap around us, then whispers in my ear "when I saw you I felt like the whole of 500 Days of Summer just flashed before my eyes, I'm not letting you go" needless to say i noped the fuck out of there but she was actually pretty hot tbh she ignored me for the rest of the night so who knows
Still can't believe you shoot all manual on an AE-1P I'd be so irritated
how so? i find i enjoy shooting manual more too, plus you said its only full auto. i wouldnt mind if it was one of the functions as a priority, not both.

Just tedious compared to needled cameras where if you change anything the meter fluctuates, so you can know your exposure settings without taking your eye from the finder The A1 is slightly better because it shows the shutter speed in the finder, but still just tells you what aperture you should use, not your metering based on the settings you've selected.
Having button for a preview of the shot in the viewfinder has spoiled me. [editline]13th October 2014[/editline] I still fuck up

I hear a lot that I look like Stefan from Vampire Diaries so it could have been that.
A7 is the ultimate maunal mode machine
not even auto ISO??
not even auto ISO??
nope the viewfinder is a screen so you get real time exposure preview [editline]13th October 2014[/editline] so i looked up that show i went to a few weeks ago on youtube and i found a lot of videos from a guy standing directly behind me behold, a video of the creation of this picture
I have the most ridiculous splint on my arm to aid my tendon healing
It looked like such a minor injury too.
Aye, it was until I cut the tendon I guess. I would say it could be worse but for the location it's in it really couldn't be :v:
my income from photography has finally outstripped income from my trust fund
went to the doctor because of 8 weeks of coughing and chestpain, now the x-ray found "something" in the lower right lung. Lung doctor tomorrow, I'm scared
best of luck dude
I'm still hoping that it's only an infection that got somehow stuck but the bloodtests show no signs of infections. In the end I probably breathed in an insect or something equaly stupid.
I have like two tins of film of scan. I'm going to be at this for years help

Really happy about switching to an X-570 tbh. Made some photograms earlier because im all done with my photography work as of yet, hopefully get to play around with film cameras soon for the first time tooo
i hate fall it's dark all the time and i don't like taking dark photos
i take a lot of dark photos, but i sold my only weatherproof lens
The results are in and the lung doctor say the first thing to exclude is a deep down encapsuled infection, yay. Now I have stronger pain medications that also make me kinda chilled and wreck my stomach, plus my very own inhaler, my transition towards ultimate geekness is one step further.
i love dark photos. quite a challenge, especially on a body that doesnt handle noise too well, or AF.
yaaay actually got credited for once [editline]16th October 2014[/editline] funny part is that his tour manager said I wasn't allowed to take photos of Example, only his official photographer was none of his photos got posted and one of mine from the crowd did gg
I'd be wary of putting work photos on instagram tho, copyright and all that
