^ What zeem said, blacking out drunk whilst on the job seems a bit risky/dumb mannnnn
as fucking funny as that story sounds, i hope you're not becoming dependent on the drink to get you through a night of work
i cant really get drunk anymore, as soon as i'm a little bit more than tipsy i get the spins and i know if i drink anymore ill start feeling sick. I never really lose my composure whilst drunk either, i feel mostly normal. but yeah totally take it easy dude.
I rarely drink these days I've noticed. I guess I just hate hangovers and how much alcohol can change people. Haven't even been out to bars/club at all since coming back to uni - only drank on two occasions. Much rather get high as shit - no hangover/feel fresh/highdeas are the best.
I am drunk most evenings. Never to the point of blacking out though.
/B/rother you are from Kopenhagen, right?
yes sir [editline]17th October 2014[/editline] i do enjoy alcohol, but not compared to other drugs really.
Just come back from photographing screamfest which is a local horror event it was honestly one of the most awesome experiences of my life photographing it and i made tonnes of contacts, managed to secure a few weeks worth of paid photography work along with it so that rocks.
i got really drunk and wrote my phone number on scraps of paper is that how you network
^ get some business cards, makes you look more pro
I give out so many business cards to people who ask for them no one ever calls or emails me though
check for errors on ur business card bro
It's probably not errors, photography seems to be a thing that people don't follow up on. I don't actively do paid gigs anymore, but I get offers and I just say I'll do them because no one ever asks me about it again after I say I'll do it. I get around 2 a month, the last 10 or so I've been offered never panned out beyond an idea. Just isn't everyone's #1 priority
gotten offered to do some photos for a brewery in copenhagen. i don't think it'll pay very well, but it could be something for my portfolio. i should get back to 'em.
yeah nobody has called me or emailed me either, good to get it out there though. someone might come across it when clearing out their wallet and think 'oh i remember that dude, time to check out his website'
i got leads on work off my handwritten one - got added on facebook by someone winning [editline]18th October 2014[/editline] also thinking of getting an illustrator to do a business card for me but scared it will make me look like an illustrator
no one will forget
it even has a watermark
also thinking of getting an illustrator to do a business card for me but scared it will make me look like an illustrator
?? then don't have illustrations on your card but just typography?
?? then don't have illustrations on your card but just typography?
that's boring though
why dont you use that one i made you cueball?
I think this day and age online ads are more effective than business cards, easier to click something while you are already on the web than to actually type in a URL that you are reading off something
Shooting the same act tonight with the same laser setup as the one that killed my friends 6D sensor last week Wish me luck
I used to do work for a company that would design and print business cards, I coulda made myself a shit ton of them for nothing. Maybe make some for you guys too.
that's boring though
calling u out on this as a typographer typography is being ignored too much in graphic design IMO ok here is link because tags are failing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cREyQJO9EPs
it's more i don't want a type driven card because they're so common - i had one, it looked nice, i enjoyed it but it gets lost among the other 20 type cards people give potential clients

i really want an instant camera that uses fp100c type film (or any kind of instant camera really) but that gives me control over depth of field etc but not a polaroid back since it's not filling the frame? is this a stupid request? [editline]19th October 2014[/editline] fuck it i'm an f-stop junkie and i just want to take shallow depth of field instant snaps. i'm bored of deep dof ones. is that bad. yes. please help my horrible condition
The struggle is real guys
if u push down the rewind wheel you can lock your roll of film so u don't need to hold down the roll with your face when advancing the roll.
