Of course you and I and a lot of other people are better than fat 24/7 TV watchers, stupid stoners, shavs and the other scum of society
Hey man. Leave stoners out of this!
the AE-1 i have has been in my family for quite awhile, i found a picture of me that was taken with that camera.

christmas morning of like '97 or something, i was rocking a slinky, and a guitar. ballin'.
oh yeah, and my older brother is uh, doing whatever he was doing.
younger bro was watching.
That picture is awesome
Kinda screams "murica" I like it.

RAWK N ROLE
Kinda screams "murica" I like it.
could it be the nascar posters on the walls, the case of weapons in the back, or the fact that i'm half naked, zoning out over a slinky, and playing br00tal metal?
I've run into artist's block. What helps you guys think outside of the box?

Movies with good cinematography
Some of my favorite directors with good camera work are Wes Anderson, Terrence Malick, and Krzysztof Kieślowski. All of their movies have good scenes that really make you reconsider what you can do with a camera.
Movies for me are easier to watch than just looking at photos, so I draw more inspiration from them.
This trailer alone is like inspiration for years for me. So much variety and it's all perfect

Please help me get my Super Macro Book published <3
http://kck.st/XtFNCJ
Why don't you use one of those self publish sites? A lot more likely and realistic than scoring £3500
You won't get 3.5k for those. Nice and kinky shots man but not 3.5k funded shots.
Get a job. Honestly there aren't shortcuts to these things. You have to go out and work for you want.
I just discovered the auctio site of the German Customs

Wow, I've never heard that one before! Thanks for such wise words.
No, seriously. What inspires you guys? What kick starts your imagination? How do you go about looking for small details or things that you find interesting? Been taking quite a few photos on walks lately and just nothing seems to be interesting anymore.
I feel like I've completely exhausted all of the photogenic material in my town. What makes for a good subject?

Thanks, I'll look into more movies!
My 21st birthday is coming up, not sure what to ask for. The Sony A 35mm 1.8 is supposed to be cool, but usually I opt for my nex when traveling small and I already have a 30mm 2.8 which is great and a 35mm 1.7 CCTV if I want bokeh so it would be redundant, especially with having the excellent 16-50mm 2.8 which I can use SSS for 3-4 stops anyways making it good enough for most lowlight. Still the 50mm equivalent is enticing
I was also considering the Vivitar 85mm 1.4 (same as samyang but I like the look more and it's cheaper) because it would be nice to have something other than my 55mm canon lens for portraits, my minolta 50mm 1.7 isn't anything special. I hesitate here because I would love to use it on film, but manual focusing would be done on my 9xi which doesn't have a split prism, making it really tough to nail focus especially at 1.4
Then I have been REALLY eyeing the Sony Rx-100. Having a pocket can with a zoom lens would be so awesome. I use my iPhone a lot for photos but an always disappointed with the reach, I've been craving something to pull in distant landscapes and it would be good for that. It's just a little pricey, though I could split the difference with my mom. Just don't know if its overkill.
Entered my photo for a photo contest, can you guys give me a like please? (You don't have to if you don't think my photo is good or something.) I'm also thinking of uploading another photograph as well, but I'm not sure which.

the more photos you take the more subjects you will see everywhere, you'll see what makes a good photo and what doesn't very quickly and you'll gain that magical ability to make the everyday seem amazing
you should definitely try to take photos of stuff out of town though,
What inspires you guys?
this is not really gonna be useful, but i find that a lot of my favourite shots were taken when i was in a really shitty mood, because then i start doing stuff like staying up all night and going outside at odd times to take photos in order to distract myself, and do stuff i don't normally do in general and feel more creative, because i feel like i suddenly need to make something
Making something beautiful out of something that's ugly. When I'm in a shitty mood I usually sit in and sulk. So it's more useful than you think.
Yeah I make better stuff when I'm upset
This photo I took because it was my birthday and no one would answer my calls and my friends threw a party and I wasn't invited. I just had to do something to get my mind off of being upset

I also write most of my music when I'm upset. I've written a couple tunes that I'm really proud of.
The accumulation of months of doodling the same chords and melody over and over summed up in a 10 minute Garageband job.

Is this a normal thing for lens flare to do, or did the devs for this go insane? I thought multi-glass lens flare (or however it's called) is supposed to go on a straight line.
it's probably the water on the lens
If this happens in a game I always picture to have this water/blood/dirt spots on my eyes and it really bugs me.

Certainly a creative way to get photos. :v:
It works to dress to what you are shooting. I often dress as a human when taking street photos
All porn shots of women are taken by crossdressers. Fact.
