that dr is fucking insane
so i got an OEM minolta split prism for my maxxum 9000 so i could use my rokinon 24mm 1.4 and pretend i'm a bopie
everything was working fine and it looked like it all worked
but i went to use it today and it appeared that is was knocked out of alignment, as the prism wouldn't come into infinity focus (despite the lens being able to focus quite a bit past infinity)
i messed around a bit and it seems as though the mirror needs to be adjusted to focus properly (i put some paper bits under the mirror and got it to align at proper infinity, showing the mirror being off)
i'm bummed, it was the main camera i brought on this trip and now i have to use AF lenses on it because those focus properly. feels bad ;(

Yeah my maxxum 9000 is fucked, and I scratched my screen a little too :/ going to put the screen in my 7000 but bummed about 1/2000 (lose a stop fml) and no vertical grip

I really need to get my license and a car. There's some locations I'd like to shoot that are way too far to walk, and I don't want to waste anyone's time getting them to drive me.

Brought a roll of film down to Walgreens to have it developed and put on a CD for me. Anyone here have any experience with them? Not looking for awesome super great quality, but will they be alright for web use?

Same with me. Ever since I graduated high school I haven't taken photos of much. I mostly took a lot of sports photos. Which I really loved, the atmosphere at football games feels so cool while I'm shooting. I think I may try to shoot for the sdsu newspaper if I can once school starts.

I've seen the same one, it's great. There are actually "mastered in 4k" blu rays, whatever that means. And I'm sure you can get some 4k stuff online, like bootlegged copies of the hobbit or something. :v:

I think those some 4k TV's have converters that converts HD to 4k if I heard correctly.

It's just upscaled, looks like reg HD. The actual 4k vids were incredible but you would need to hook up your PC and play those 100+ gig for torrented files. It just seems a bit early to actually buy one.

Once criterion has 4k purchasable videos I'll consider it viable
guys, i am sitting with an hp scanjet 5590p and the hp scanjet tma in my local library. anyone got any idea how decent this scanner is and should i be lookinjg at the v500 in another local libray that is a bit further away?
