well damn
If there was a London one I'd go since I'm there enough already.
Please let us know when you are next.
I'll make the trip to grab a beer with ya mate.
I'm there with 3 other facepunchers for 3 nights starting the 30th actually (then to Cambridge, so within commuter train distance).
I'll let them know and if they're cool with it and I'll let you know if we can all grab a beer together.

This was a joke by the way I'd love to meet up
And I will be in London sometime (I'm getting a ticket as my grad present) next year, I'll try and work out more details and let everyone know

I watched Side By Side.
Really good, very informative and gives you a really great look at the world of professional film making from a technical point of view. I was also surprised by all the big name people interviewed.
I thought it would bash either film or digital and favour one, but they were extremely neutral.
Also they say Arri is the king of digital.
do you think that all the photographers here have distinctive styles? I think we should have a chart, side by side of 5 photos from each photographer and see if their style shines through, or if they all kinda blend together.
There is a lot of distinct styles here but there are a few people who have styles similar to eachother.
i think people seem to have familiar styles because a lot of us only post what we know the rest of us will tend to like
the bunch of good photogs here pull the general style into more conceptual directions than just wow nice well technically made photo good job x
which is nice

then everyone would just post close-ups of flowers in a city environment and portraits of scantily clad ladies on the beach.
are you daft
i don't know about you but most people here don't really like those kinds of photos
