yeah forgot to say, when i do do it, it's not in photoshop, it's in canon software, which knows the exact corrections to do for all canon lenses
Posted this in the gear discussion thread. Posting it here as well for those of you who don't frequent that thread.
So, I have 10 cameras and I really only use one. I need to get rid of a few to help pay for a car/parts/insurance/etc. I purchased the Pentax to "Upgrade" from my Yashica, but I absolutely loooooooooooove my Yashica and found myself reaching for it rather than the 654 when I went out. The SX-70 was a total impulse buy and I've only used it a few times.
Anyone in the US interested in:
Pentax 645 with 75mm F/2.8 - $450 (Shutter is accurate. Body is near mint. Lens is clear and focus is smooth as silk. There are a few marks in the viewfinder but they aren't distracting at all.)
Polaroid SX-70 - $350 (One of Photojojo's & Mint's "Limited Edition" restored SX-70s. Glass is clean, Shutter and meter is accurate, Rollers are clean, Focus is smooth, and it has brand new leather. Nothing wrong with it at all. Restored to almost the same condition it left the factory.)
If nobody is interested, I'll toss em' up on Ebay. I just figured I'd give you folks first pickings :)
My phone was stolen today at school....about 1 year after my phone was stolen...
Bad, bad feels right now
So the other day I was at my friend's place and I'm trying out his new 600D, taking some shots in manual and laughing at how bad full auto is
The next day I get a message on skype
Dude, you dont fuck with my Camera settings and not change them back
How do i put it back on Auto
I don't know if I should tell him how to use the mode select wheel or make him learn how to use it properly :v:
Do you guys use Lens corrections on your shots?
Never.
It's very hard to find a lens that's bad enough to need it.
If anything, very slight distortion can only add to the photo, especially on wides and ultra wides.

Colorado is really snowy right now so i haven't been able to do much with my rx100, snow really muddles the image. Monday is supposed to be nice outside so hoping for some better shots then.
Shut down my phones SIM card, so I can't be charged, I have to finish the rest of my two year contract though, as I was only 4 months into it.
I'm on spring break and it's snowing. This sucks.
Just so that everyone understands what this was from- we DID NOT KILL A PERFECTLY HEALTHY ANIMAL!!! This mare was kicked by another horse in the field which shattered her stifle. There was NOTHING that could be done to save her... the best, most specialized surgeon could not have saved the joint- i saw it, disected... it was completley shattered. This was done at an institute of learning, thus the reason for disection. Believe me, if we could have saved her in any way we would have... and yes, it is sad to see the photos of her foal, but WE COULD NOT HELP HER!!!! And trust me, we were ALL upset when we had to put her down.... R.I.P.
pretty interesting to look at, don't think i have ever seen a horse fetus before.
Hey guys, I don't like to beg, but can anyone help me out here? I need some sponsorship for some much needed equipment for my next trip. Anything helps, I mainly need a new lens, and some protective equipment for New Zealand's harsh-ish landscapes.
I'll keep it short and sweet but thanks.

Sometimes I wish the best things didn't cost so much :(
What lens do you need and why will it help you? What specifically are you trying to protect your gear from?
Get a job you freeloading scumbags.
I want to see if he really needs help.
It's best to give people a chance.

I'm sorry but a Pentax K100D is sufficient to survive a trip to NZ. If you were truly struggling to get something usable in your hands, then I would feel compelled to help you.
I'm after a wide angle lens, which would not only be useful for landscape photographs, but sports and various other types too. This lens to be specific:
http://www.pentaximaging.com/camera-lenses/smc_PENTAX_DA_10-17mm_F3.5-4.5_ED_(IF)_Fish-Eye (sorry wrong link before)
As i'll be taking pictures up in mountain-es areas wide angle shots will look far better than just using my standard 18mm-125mm lens and same for taking shots of people doing skii jumps . Later on this can also be used for many other purposes.
And as for what I'm protecting gear from? I'll be doing some pretty intense mountain climbing so I need a well padded bag to protect it from bashing, snow, with good water resistance. I'll also be going to many mud pits and volcanoes, and they tend to spew out out a fair bit of debris.
I'm not sure how I can really explain how much I need it, but I have needed one for quite a while. I missed a real-estate opportunity once because I didn't have one.
[editline]26th March 2013[/editline]
I'm not using the K100D much anymore, I'm using a k30
You need to 'cut your teeth' on cheaper gear before you jump to something like that.
You need to play with different types of 'entry level' lenses before you commit to such a big purchase.
I'm simply being honest and trying to help you.
At this point if you really want it that badly, you're going to have to work for it.
