If that's university, that'd be crazy. If you got caught "quite drunk" at my old dorms, you'd get an immediate fine from the university, a minor in consumption charge if you're under 21, and you'd have to go to an alcohol addiction class to avoid having it put on your record. :v: Hopefully you don't get punished for their cock up. Although I don't know what good an empty flat with rent all to yourself would be, though.
Yeah, it's uni housing. They deserve to be kicked out (they did sign a form about behaviour), but it's not fair for you if you weren't there. The smartest thing I did while living in uni accommodation was to not get wasted while in uni accommodation :v:. [editline]10th January 2014[/editline] Actually learning might have been the smartest thing actually.
we got threats in our uni flat because we kept climbing out onto the scaffolding outside the windows on the third floor we learned that the best thing to do was to not get caught after that point
holy fuck that's excessive. if you're underage here they don't even take your booze off you, they just let you run away from them when they bust a party
Yeah America is really strict on underage drinking At the university ASU (largest in the country) in the first three days of school this year there were 919 citations and 489 arrests for underage drinking.
the only reason someone goes to ASU is because they want to party
Do you live in Uni accomodation? [editline]11th January 2014[/editline] If so, ignore their threats. It's just big talk.
what i think, but they've fined two of us [editline]10th January 2014[/editline]
Yeah America is really strict on underage drinking At the university ASU (largest in the country) in the first three days of school this year there were 919 citations and 489 arrests for underage drinking.
that's so fucking dumb.
lol what we were drinking in year 10-11 in school and we got caught more than a bunch of times (like, pretty much every school event) and nothing ever happened
here there's no age limit for consuming alcohol, but the law requires you to be 16 years old to go into a store and purchase alcohol. which means that no teacher, parent or officer had anything to say whenever we we're "underage" drinking.
the only reason someone goes to ASU is because they want to party
actually i go to asu to study industrial design so ??? but yeah, pretty excessive. had the cops on my floor once before school even began.
actually i go to asu to study industrial design so ??? but yeah, pretty excessive. had the cops on my floor once before school even began.
i meant that in the least offensive way possible and obviously "everyone" was an exaggeration pls 4give me [editline]10th January 2014[/editline] at least that's the only reason anyone in my area goes to ASU

I lived in a private student flat for a while, close enough. [editline]11th January 2014[/editline] It sucked.
I lived in a private student flat for a while, close enough. [editline]11th January 2014[/editline] It sucked.
:( halls are good fun because everyone is equally disenfranchised with it all
actually i go to asu to study industrial design so ??? but yeah, pretty excessive. had the cops on my floor once before school even began.
Wanna party together and beat the 0.131 DUI BAC ASU average???
:( halls are good fun because everyone is equally disenfranchised with it all
If you stop living with other people your quality of life goes way up. Students are really fucking messy and loud dude.
there is a special place in hell for the people who charge $15 for shipping a relatively small lens and then ship UPS ground
UPS ground can get expensive, I ship USPS medium rate, $11.80 for 1-3 day and no weight restrictions
UPS ground can get expensive, I ship USPS medium rate, $11.80 for 1-3 day and no weight restrictions
The only benefit to using UPS ground is if you are a large company selling a bunch of stuff but otherwise USPS is twice as fast going from CA to NY and 1/2 the cost
Just confirmed! Spending a week in New Orleans next month for work! I'll try to get some pictures if I can! :D
If you stop living with other people your quality of life goes way up. Students are really fucking messy and loud dude.
This man, none of my flat are back from christmas holidays yet and its just me here alone and its fucking great
Don't you love it when the guy from the "pro" lab handles your film with his bare hands and puts a big fat-smudge all over 5 shots?
i really want to live alone but it is prohibitively expensive for me. i want to just live with one person, but again, i can't find anyone
If you stop living with other people your quality of life goes way up. Sharing an apartment/student house really depends on the other people IMO, I've studied agriculture for a year in Leeuwarden and was housed with 5 other students, the house was nice but once one of the exchange students left (gal from Australia) it got really boring and moody.
Wanna party together and beat the 0.131 DUI BAC ASU average???
Chyuh, I'm not scared of Sheriff Joe!!! :suicide: But for real though, I've never had more than a couple drinks at once. I ordered some Mpix mailers and they should be here today. Dare I send in the rolls I actually care about, or should I send a test roll?
test roll 4 sure
so, the dude i sold my d3100 to wants to return the camera, because he wanted it to be completely dustless or he wants me to pay for him to ship it to nikon so they can professionally clean it, wich ranges from $60-$100. im gonna go for the latter
