What? What dust is he complaining about? On the sensor?
no on the lens
like, in the filter ring threads
not in it
This is why I hate ebay so much, this shit always happens.
Also lost mail.
I just sold my old battery grip for £50 and it got lost in the mail, I had to refund the guy and the Royal Mail said there was inconclusive evidence that it was lost and didn't pay out on the insurance.
oh yeah, so also he thought there was too much dust inside so he tried to blow it out and got it on the sensor, or so he says
I have bad luck buying stuff used. Like something is advertised having no signs of use and then when I get it I can find scratches on it and dust in the optics. Now I ask for every little detail before buying to be sure.

Yeah this guy sounds like an idiot.
Sounds like he wants you to pay to repair his mistake.
if he's so fucking stupid, he shouldn't own a camera

That's complete user error, you can hardly be held accountable for that
he thinks its my fault because it had dust in it already, not on the sensor but on that area around the mirror
how do you not get dust there? I told him its used and it had signs of use, but they were not going to affect the pictures, now he did this... I'd rather give him $60 and forget about it

That's the reason I went for a brand new camera vs used. I've been honest in what camera gear I've sold and never had any issue.
I got a shutter with a broken bulb setting. shifty ebay cretins

I will never buy anything new because I will feel like getting ripped off. The difference between the new and used price is way too big for me so I rather gamble and buy used.

10/10 would never sell to again

"I bought a uke from you and hung it on the wall, it fell off the wall and broke my computer will you please pay for the repairs? It was your uke after all"
frankly the shit I hate most about ebay is when you are trying to sell something common for a low price and then the people who sell the same item in bulk place fake bids and buy it nows on your listing
[editline]11th January 2014[/editline]
i had to relist my itouch that I was selling 5 times because fake accounts kept buying it
What I hate about ebay is stubborn people that put up items for like 150% of the price it normally sells for and keep relisting it in hopes of someone being desperate enough to buy it.

I dislike the people more that put up like 20 Craigslist ads a day for the same shit old lenses that are more expensive than the already 150%inflated eBay prices

Makes it a pain to buy sneakers.
if i want to get ripped off the last place i go is ebay

Consider grey imports? I've bought two cameras in the range of £700-900 in the last three years and had no issues whatsoever. With grey import in mind, ebay was saving me about £100-£150. I bought a Hasselblad 500 C/M off ebay and got lucky, lens was marked but optically superb as my prints showed.
Digital Rev has grey import prices without the worry of buying from a grey importer.
i would have bought my a7 used but its too fresh on the market
~*super first world problems*~
as long as whatever I buy used is in good condition I dont see the difference between buying something new or used (save for some things that come with a warranty). after a few months the one I paid an extra good bit of money to buy it new will be no different than a used one
bought my a77, rx100, nex 5, and 24mm 1.4 new (got discounts on all except the nex). everything else i own is used

also 6/11 of my 365 photos have been shot within 100 feet of my house i'm a procrastinator
http://www.fredmiranda.com/ is a good place for used camera gear! (:
Got my Mamiya RB67 Pro-S from there!
Fujifilm posted this on their website, they know what's up.

from the way this mirrorless shite is going the 6D might be my last dslr lol
If Olympus released a FF mirrorless styled as the OM-10 i'd be all over it.
