frankly im more of a DSLR kind of person but I would love a mirrorless like an A7 or something that is closer in form and function to a DSLR
I also love the X100s but I don't think I could personally justify spending $1200 on a fixed lens digi

i hope canikon jump into the high end mirrorless market

Olympus and going fullframe? Not a chance. (just look at their SLR line :v:)

Nikon already did, and this is what they came up with:

I've never actually owned a DSLR, I've only handled them like 4 times
does anyone know of a camera bag for like $120 max that can hold a mid-size SLR body, 2-4 lenses and miscellaneous things like batteries and cards etc?

Second Hand Billingham would fit that, I've got a few myself, even one I don't need which is styled like a video bag, which would fit an slr around the size of a Nikon D40 with kit lens, and up to four lenses. but if you look on ebay or camera stores you should look for a 335 which would so much in, I took one to Holland carrying a lot of gear.

The V2 is high end?
[editline]12th January 2014[/editline]
The nikon 1 series is so shit anyway.
i love my event messenger 150, it would probably fit in the lower band of your needs, dwt. i can fit my d3200, videomic pro inc. shock mount, kit lens, 50mm lens, 4 cartridges of film in the main section and at least two batteries, lens caps and a charger in the front part

the fact that you can only charge it by plugging it in (aka no multiple batteries or inconspicuous mobile charging) kinda makes me want to get it
Do you guys know any guides to designs and the technological stuff on Cargocollective? Like how to script the picture layout and such.

I have a Nikon bag I'll sell for $10 (plus shipping), it can probably do what you are asking

I doubt there's anything specific; just HTML/CSS
I know nothing about that stuff, so I'll probably just pick a predefined design for starters, it's just that it looks so dull

i might just wait 6 weeks and get a billingham for my birthday
still not sure on hadley pro or hadley small
think ahead. if you're going to be walking around a lot then having less weight to carry is always a good thing
I think it would be better to get the hadley pro since it could fit my macbook in the rear if im travelling and it seems better to have a hadley pro with extra room in there so it can be a bit thinner than a hadley small bulging at the seams from being jammed full.
when I look at digitalrev videos kai has a hadley pro and he doesnt keep it very full so its less rigid and has some wiggle room and sits closer to his profile
tbh dwt i feel like you are always asking questions you already know the answer to
usually its because I post a question here and then do a bunch of internet research and watch some videos and that answers it for me but I still appreciate feedback/advice from here since everyone here has more experience than me
not everyone

i'd recommend just taking an existing design, coming up with a list of things you'd want to change in it, then simply googling "how do i do x with CSS"
you can only edit HTML on cargo if you've paid money so all you get is CSS, but you'll learn pretty quick how to do stuff

Pretty much anything anyone has wanted to do is in their help forum thread. If you can't find a way to do something, open a ticket, you'll get an answer within hours.
I need help, what settings do I mess with, so the colors don't look so washed out.
Like this is pretty bad

compared to this i took a few years ago:

I don't know what settings I messed with in paintshop pro.
Also there is a lack of people that take pics of paintball players in my area, so I feel like I can fill that niche and make money while doing it. Via smugmug or other substitutes. But it's getting to the point where my gear is slowing me down, like I throw away a lot of good pics because they came out blurry.
I have a nikon d3100 with a nikkor 55-200 mm 5.6.
So far, I'm thinking of picking up a Canon 60d with this: [URL]http://www.adorama.com/CA75300AFR.html#reviews[/URL]
It's sports photography, so I need something that can autofocus fairly quick. Would those be a good purchase for my needs? Thanks

theres no point in switching to a whole different system, getting a camera body that is marginally better and then getting an equally as cheap lens
[editline]12th January 2014[/editline]
id stay on nikon since you are already used to nikon controls and such and if you really feel like you need a new body and lens get a used D7000 and then a tamron or nikon 70-300
I think you should try to get a 70-200 F/2.8, if not an F/4?
I also agree with the D7000 upgrade if you're really willing to buy a new body.
Because as far as I know, it's the equivalent to the Canon 7D which I consider really nice for shooting action because of the AF system and the FPS. (Though I'm not really sure what the D7000 actually has)

yeah I was going to say a 70-200 f/2.8 or f/4 but they are all around $1000 minimum which is probably a lot for most.
Ah alright, I was leaning towards Canon because they seem to be better for video, something I'm interested in doing later on. And because my boss, has some pretty nice canon glass I'm able to use. And Canon seems to have a better warranty/support center, and paintball photography can be pretty brutal for the cameras.
For those pics, I tried raising the contrast, but the colors don't look natural, i can't figure it out ):
