I tried to bleach a Polaroid negative, and instead I made a mess. :v: Here's the positive, and my janky 5 minute camera.
Wow I haven't taken photography seriously In like a year now. Been smoking too much green oops. Quit now, time for a fresh start. Anyone got some ideas how I can get back into it as a serious thing again/tips on how to keep shooting/learning regularly?
I'd say do some street photography, or do a self portrait of you smoking :v:
Hnnnggg Can't stop listening. It's been on repeat on my ipod for a good month now.

That's pretty much exactly what I love about it. The whole thing is underwhelming. It almost climaxes but doesn't. It's like sex that doesn't conclude with an orgasm. Means something else. [editline]15th April 2013[/editline] On another note, here's a photo I took of my family at a reunion a week or two ago. We're all descendants of my great grandmother: [t]https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/892961_10151355767496727_385781475_o.jpg[/t]
Annnnd the fire alarm went off again at my college. Same building. Same class period. Same day of the week. It's almost time for my first class of the day. Maybe that'll be cancelled now. It wasn't last time, but we'll see. [editline]fsdfsd[/editline] Nope. They just let us back in.
I'm soon going to get a 30 day Interrail Pass which allows me to travel nearly everywhere in Europe by train. I am planning to visit Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Glasgow, Venice, Rome, maybe Cluj-Napoca for the Dub FX concert. But obviously those are big cities, which means I most likely would be visiting the 'touristy' places. Can anyone recommend places or things I could visit?
if you are in glasgow and i'm not doing anything i could show you around/hang whatever
Edinburgh is the tourist city, go here instead. I cringe whenever I see tourists in Glasgow.
who wouldn't want to come to glasgow and see govan or maryhill
Glasgow isn't a bad city, it's just not a tourist city. Edinburgh is where all the history, old buildings and castles are.
also the streets are clean instead of dead neds clogging it up yeah go to edinburgh [editline]16th April 2013[/editline]
who wouldn't want to come to glasgow and see govan or maryhill
bearsden fleeto
Got my SplashArt Kit, waiting on rest of the stuff to get a proper setup, so just messing around currently.
if you are in glasgow and i'm not doing anything i could show you around/hang whatever
That would be really cool! I will PM you once I got the dates to see if you have time :)
Edinburgh is the tourist city, go here instead. But Since I got a lot of time I can just visit Glasgow and Edinburgh :)
Holy shit guys, Rick Astley and David Attenborough live 5 minutes away from me. How did I not know this.
I went to the George Eastman house the other day, just half an hour from my home. I guess I'd really already known how good it was gonna be, but holy shit, I'd really recommend and photography enthusiast to try and make the trip if they ever get the chance. Some of the stuff they have is incredible.
Okay. I'll make a trip up to Scotland this year. Might hitchhike? I'll keep you guys posted.
you should come to shcotland
I'm going to Amsterdam next week!
I'm going to Amsterdam next week!
Remember to get a bike :)

So I can't take photo class in high school because I need to load up on business courses to get 5 credits and get an advanced regents diploma (no fucking clue what that is), this is really bumming me out. The bitch councilor told me I could just take photo my senior year, but then I'd take photo 1, and go to college and never continue. I know photo classes are usually kind of a gimmick but I really like the teacher, and some of the shit coming out of his room is sweet.
Just take it senior year then. Your college might offer a course too, seems like a pretty standard course to offer
I'm going to Amsterdam next week!
Cool, I had the same idea!
Cool, I had the same idea!
FP Mini Meet?
Some big changes in my life. Started my masters degree in Geophysics after doing my BA in Physics, new town, new people and it seems like I get to work with the place I always wanted: http://www.geomar.de/ Will go on a two weeks trip on one of the ships next year and I'll get to use this baby I finally feel like I'm doing the right thing with my life and while I have a LOT of work I also feel more drive to make more pictures. Cheers!
Congrats dude! Looking forward to pictures from you, good luck on your masters!
Nice one!
It's bothering the shit out of me because I can't remember the name of the documentary. Does anyone remember seeing a trailer for a documentary that said (I think) was shot solely on film?
Aw yeah, my mum just won a Samsung Galaxy S3
