Very lounge-y. Very chill. Maybe try find some female vocal shots for it, all I can really think of to improve it.

I like it. Maybe the intro should be slower or something.

kind of repetitive but whatever

Good job man it sounds nice, the only suggestion I have is that I think the vocals might sound a bit better if they were a bit less centred.
work in progress, a bit of a Deerhunter inspiration

pretty heavy WIP
Do you guys think it'd be a good idea to get a plug.dj going sometime? You can hook in your soundcloud tracks and that way more people will hear them and be able to throw feedback at it rather than just posting it in a sea of links
Anyone up for doing this right now?

It's pretty cool even though it's repetitive because something is happening all the time. I would suggest trying to put in even more subtle (or not so subtle) changes over time.

It's pretty cool, but it gets very messy tonaly towards the end of the middle part. I would also suggest doing something, like high-pass or some effect, to the scratching sound (the second sound that is heard). It takes a lot of attention in the mix.

This is very good. I like it a lot. I suggest that you try to make it more dynamic. That is, peaks and valleys in volume or intensity. Otherwise that cymbal sample in the beginning sounds pretty bad, try to see if you can find a better one or do something so it is more varied more.

I'm trying to learn about song structure in electronic music. I had some old house idea in my folder, so I decided to use it so make this monster. I'm about to start mixing and such, but would like some opinions. I'm not really that into this kind of music, so I don't really know what I'm doing.
I found my Reason 4 CD a few weeks back and started to piss around with Orkester. But I suck at writing music without other people so this is the result:

It's also not really mixed beyond setting some levels and adding some 'verb and some of the feel in the strings needs some work I feel - There's a lot of 'placeholder' parts in there.
I really want it to move to another feel but removing the piano seems to through the whole thing out. Hoping I get some inspiration on that because I like it so far.
On the plus side, everything you hear was played in with my MIDI keyboard, no note-placing - so I'm getting somewhere with the keys.

i like this a lot but you should add a key change every few measures.
i.e just transpose the song a few steps down, like a chord progression but with the whole song.
just had my music picked up by a NE record label, and i'm so stoked because i've only been doing this for 5 months. if anyone has any pointers they have, let me know. always looking to improve my work, i know it can be so much better.

So I've been really busy this week with summer school, but I had some free time today so I wrote this little piece.

Another Chillstep WIP that I'm working on at the moment. As you can hear, the sound is very polluted and muddy at the moment.

Just started work on... whatever this'll be. Mathcore/Death Metal/Instrumental
As a side note, i'm pretty shit at mixing so I was wondering if anyone could through some recommendations my way as to what I should change on
So my friend and I are working on a collab together, and after 2 months I have finally finished my part for him to add to/sing to. Tell me what you guys think.

I've put a shit load of time into this, so it would be fantastic if you guys could tell me the problems of the song and what it could with/without.
Thanks!

is everything panned to the left or am i going deaf
is everything panned to the left or am i going deaf
It seems like a lot of the instruments are panned to the left, which doesn't work that well without any vocals to outbalance the instrumentation.
I dig the chill feel of the instrumentalisation though!
is everything panned to the left or am i going deaf
It shouldn't be all panned to the left...
A lot of instruments have a automation to pan to the left, but it's not saying there, or at least it shouldn't be.

Track is great. My only comment is that you might want to try panning some of the percussion right and not have it all left.

A 30 second sneak-peak of my new track. Asian-inspired, wave-shaped 808's. Mm.
