Wanted to make 8 bit, but it ran away

The bass and heavy synth clash pretty much right now, I think if you stereo seperate them a bit (i.e have the bass more on the right, and the heavy synth on the left) you could get away with the two occupying the same sonic register. I love the drums, really nice sound on them! OVerall I really dig the song, at first the tones you have in the beginning were rather annoying, this changed as the song progressed however so I guess it is just a matter of getting used to the rather unusual tone of it all.
Nice work mate, is this a final version or will something be added/removed?
I'm working on this metal type thing, that is really bare in how it is built up (it all revolves around this static drum beat, and a really, really simple riff), but I've added a lot of elements to the song, such as rain, thunder clashes and vocals that humm or ooh or aaahs the two notes of the riff, or follows a melody I made for this song.

Tell me what you think!
I just bought a Tascam DP008 and made a quick track. It kinda sucks but whatever

Wow thanks man, I was just going to leave it since its basically what a sketch is to a painter, but I'll improve it now.
Here's something inspired by Michael McCann & the Tron Soundtrack

Not based on any game whatsoever. Nope.

Seconding what Skeeter said, it sounds a little too much like a dialtone. I'd say use a different, slightly grittier synth instead.
Do you like improvised space rock? Me and my mates DID THIS in the basement. We gonna go chop this up (the good parts heh) and make some proper music out of it this summer! Recorded using the built in mics on a Zoom R16. An amazing machine. http://snd.sc/11XOk2u

Simple and Clean cover that I'm working on.

Melodic electronica i just released. Make sure you hear the main melody before you shut it off.
So I got a copy of feed me weird things by squarepusher and I was listening to it and fiddling and came up with this little ditty
do the drums sorta match thats what my main aim was

either way I know one of the problems with my music is repetitiveness in the drum area so I'm trying to practice not doing that
Did not expect this much quality in this thread. A lot of talented people out there obviously.

Hello, I did a doodle.
Electronic music is not my thing, but I'd do my own songs with a guitar... if I had a good distortion. Right now I'm in need of either a good pedal or a good virtual amp.

I'm fairly new to Music Production but here is a track I threw together in a couple hours today. Feedback or tips would be nice.
Drums, Rain, Thunder,Wind Ect.
posted this awhile ago, still looking for thoughts.
It's an electronic/orchestral track/retro track, probably made for a video game or something. I don't know, I just did it one day I was feeling creative.

I was jamming and made a loop that sounded 80's.. and yes.

Should I redo it and do it well this time?
What's up guys? Haven't worked on non-release shit for a while, decided to make this

Lemme know what you think! (That chorus bit is pretty early stages atm)

I love it. Really tight sound on the snare!

Suggestions on how to make my mix better?
This: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTh8jmQ0Yj4
Which has a similar bass sound sounds so much louder.
Here's a short little downtempo track I've been working on for the past day or so. It is very inspired by Boards of Canada and was produced entirely using using samples and loops.
~snip~
Hope you all like it, and of course I'm open to any advice and criticism.

sounds a lot like something i heard on deadmau5's soundcloud once, i can't remember what it was called
I think the piano would sound better with more of the low end in there. But overall I think it could be turned into a really cool song, if you plan on finishing it

It was inspired by Joel's work, I have to say. And the lack of low end was because I produced this on my shitty logitech speakers and not my KRK headphones and had my sub turned up all the way so that's most likely why there's an infinitely low amount of bass in the song, but thanks anyways! I do plan on finishing it.
-Snip-
Song finished and moved.
i have been months without showing any full length tracks, and the true reason for that is that i have been working on this for the entire duration of that time:

So I downloaded the fl studio demo and made this thing (i've never done any music before)

I would do more with it but I can't open the file now
chill stuff, old school synths

Nice, i like that kick man.
A Heavyish, alternative song I released for my solo project District Whores, I released two demos in may and I think this new stuff is pretty different. Check it out and let me know what you think :3

I've been working on this remix for a while, and I wanted to get some criticism/comments before I submitted it
https://soundcloud.com/monsieurangry/remix/s-Wpxki
I'll have to leave it as a link since it's a private track
What it is.

For some reason my previous count was deleted after I was banned, seems a bit harsh though.
