This is still a work in progress, I'm just having a hard time with my transitions:

I like this a lot! Though IMO the high pitched synth that goes on until 1:11 and from 1:58 onwards is a bit too high in the mix, makes it feel out of place for me.
Tried reviving this mofo.

I'm pretty awful at mixing. Just can't seem to get the hang of it :C
Also updated these:

Tried to make the lead bass a bit less chaotic.
And this oldie as well.

Welp, I've been trying my hand at music, and so far, these tracks I feel proud of...but I'm horrible at mixing/mastering. Any tips to improve my mastering?

Might this be a bit better?

A little Liquid Drum & Bass WIP for you (not even really mixed yet):

shitty idea I've been playing around with

Way better. Great job! :)
Now that I've moved to a new apartment and gotten stuff roughly where they need to be, I could start working on something again.

https://soundcloud.com/gustavn/ny-l-t/s-magTE
This is kinda nice. Not bad production wise, but you might want to do something with the drums. Fills and little change ups would bring some new life, especially before the drops

Just me being dumb:

That's what I've been thinking about myself too, actually. Also maybe considering adding an instrument in the first half of the first chorus.

Those drums and that bass would fit a more melodic tune very good.

dunno if I can improve on this much more at this point, hit a creative block and dunno what more I could do with it, suppose there's still mastering work to be done but I just feel like i've hit a point of redundancy working on it more and more making the subtlest changes that doesn't really change the feel much
i'll probs start working on another track soon enough

You could work on the mix! after 1.11 it all goes to hell. The main bassy-synth is WAY too high, and you can barely hear the drums. You might not be after the loudest, punchiest drums ever but they're still too low in the mix. The composition is nice though.
In other news, Hippity Hop you don't stop

these drums ok?
Hey guys, just made a little demo as part of my attempt at the savant challenge, I only used pure FL synthesis/effects for this!

ok maybe I used iZotope on the master but that's all I swear

I liked the tracks, although the first song sounded generic until the lead guitar came in.
In the second song, your melody near the end sounded out of key.
So I haven't uploaded anything in close to month now, but I decided to go ahead and upload this one. Its a bit different in what I usually compose, but I'm justing trying to work in all styles.

Sounds great, although the simple chord progression makes it sound a bit generic and cliché. It's spiced up at 1.22 but is still a bit generic.

Sounds cool, really weird but cool, can't really give any criticism since I don't know much about this kinda music :v:

Thanks, and I do agree with you somewhat, I didn't use a large variety of chords in this particular piece, I kept it simple, because that is what I was going for. Although, I think its a bit harsh for you to say it is "cliché," overused. And the reasoning being is that I just feel like people think far to much that a simple piece means that it is cliché. That it has to be complex and a lot of variety of chords have to be used for it not to be cliché. But maybe your right to a point, maybe I need to think more less simple when I'm trying to write sad pieces. I'm not very trained in this particular area, I usually always write creepy and sinister music.
Anyways, thanks for the thoughts.

Cliché is the wrong word, I still like it and I think you're going down the right road. It does not have to be complex, but it's much harder to make it sound unique when you make it simple.
Been having writers block and I made this quickly yesterday. Not 100% finished but I'll work on it more later. CC?

It sounds really good, very well produced, and I like your synths. But that melody at 3.00 has certain notes that are too loud, you might want to fix that.
I wish I could get back into making tracks in one day, it's been taking me way too long to get the structure of songs down lately. Any suggestions on how to fix that?
anyways I've been working on this for a couple of days:

oh by the way this is my attempt at the Savant challenge, only FL native synths (although I used outside samples)
-wait it was clipping i have to fix-
Shit a song without computers
Anyways this is what we decided to make in an afternoon. There are a few notably dodgy parts including the wobbly vocals and dodgy attack on the strings. Thank you casio.

I think the delay on those high notes might be too much. I gotta take an ear break.
I recently released a hiphop record and I'm looking for some feedback! Tell me what you think

Way too much low end apart from that I think it sounds decent at the moment.

fiddled around a bit.
