guys what the fuck is going on that new song I wrote has more listens and likes in less than week than any of my songs previously this isn't right, someone must have posted it on a blog or something does anyone know how I could find out where it was posted?
Google your artist name and the title of the song, any page that mentions it should show up. Those like surges are the best things ever.
Very unique style, liking it! Released a few previews last night. Let me know what you think!
Needless to say, I've move on from this type of electro/dubstep, but I recognize the production and it sounds pretty on point. Your tracks are pretty unique/dissimilar from the next. I could easily seeing a couple of them going off at a club and whatnot. Good stuff. Uploaded a new remix a few days ago
Google your artist name and the title of the song, any page that mentions it should show up. Those like surges are the best things ever.
Agreed, this remix got more listens over night last night than my previous upload totalled. Tried to google it and nothing showed up. V:v:V
Google your artist name and the title of the song, any page that mentions it should show up. Those like surges are the best things ever.
I'm getting nothing, just my own account and facepunch. Seriously where are all of these people coming from...

I usually hesitate posting here just because Facepunch, for the majority, doesn't exactly like this type of music, but I appreciate your comment on the technical side of things.
I'm getting nothing, just my own account and facepunch. Seriously where are all of these people coming from...
wow dude i had to check that what the fuck you have like 10x more plays than usual
fucking around a little, could use CC forgot to trim the ending, fuck it whatever
https://soundcloud.com/thaard/chillela-t-wip dunno what to do with this, but it feels kind of empty.
fucking around a little, could use CC forgot to trim the ending, fuck it whatever
Seems like you have the basic hang of production, so what you need now is perhaps some sidechain-compression and some more dynamics. Otherwise it was a nice example of just messing around. :) My latest work: https://soundcloud.com/peterbthomsen/cakemonsterz [editline]30th October 2013[/editline]
https://soundcloud.com/thaard/chillela-t-wip dunno what to do with this, but it feels kind of empty.
IMO it doesn't feel empty, it is nice and repetitive where is needs to be, and just extremely relaxing. Well done good sir!

It's a part of a concept album of sorts. Here's the finished version: https://soundcloud.com/thaard/day-1 also, how the heck do I embed soundcloud?

Just finished this for the most part.
This is SUSS, reformation of my last project ''District Whores''. This is also the first song released under the SUSS name. Noise/HC/Punk(?!) material sung in Finnish. Only using a drum machine & a heavily distorted bass for the instruments. https://soundcloud.com/konsta-airisto/kaltaisekseni
I apparently made this while drunk last night I have no memory of this
Sounds like the ambient from the blair witch games.
an older one i'm looking for some CC on [editline]1st November 2013[/editline] and could use some advice where to take this one, i'm thinking of doing some vocals for this one in particular because I just really like the feel I got going on
New track coming out 25/11 on beatport
Does someone make trance the likes of Tomas Heredia, Omnia, etc?
Made this while I was bored in class this other day.. hehe https://soundcloud.com/tomsoe/state-one-the-reality-hq
Trying something.. new?

Follow-up to Day 1(duh) https://soundcloud.com/thaard/night-1
Okay, finished it. C&C would be great - this is my first time using such instruments and I need to learn how to improve :v:
extremely bored today, so I decided to be an idiot and make more music instead of doing schoolwork Also Anax, I know you haven't posted it here yet but your song, "Coff Drop" is awesome. I love the atmosphere you created!

Wonderful jazzy mood and a great mix to tag along. Very well done.
More stuff, this time dark and bassy:
The atmosphere is really nice. The pads and bells really add to it. I'd say the wub bass is a little dry and 'normal'. Maybe try something more subtle and fluid. I like the direction though! -----
It's a WIP.
It gets quite muddy before the drop, and some of the levels are quite off. I can hear an arp in the background, but it's much too quiet, in contast with the lead which is too loud. That bass riff after 1:02 is cool though. -----
Here's the finished version:
Heard the two tracks on my SoundCloud feed, really liked them. Very chilled out, but it still moves along. And the melotron samples towards the end are a nice summery touch. Let us know when you finish the concept album. -----
an older one i'm looking for some CC on
I'd recommend getting some better drums samples (are those default FL Studio ones?) The Machine drum sample pack can be good for electronic drums, sampled from old hardware. TheSample.net can also be good for finding vinyl breaks and hits and other stuff. The synths and pads are good, but the drums should be more interesting.
and could use some advice where to take this one, i'm thinking of doing some vocals for this one in particular because I just really like the feel I got going on
Again the drums are a little dry. Vocals are a great idea though! You can definitely hear how they'd fit into the structure of the track. -----
New track coming out 25/11 on beatport
Sick stuff, man! Really crisp percussion. And the bitcrushing gives the elements crispness too. Looking forward to that one. -----

Man, this makes a real change from the house/electronica we always get here. The drums have a great feel to them. The chords are really awesome, and you've written some great melodies round them. I'd say the flange-y guitar-sounding synth is a little cheap sounding, but it's just personal preference (I much prefer phasers to flangers). The bass could use a lot more bottom end, maybe chain a doublebass so it plays the same notes as the current saw bass? It just sounds like it's being highpassed at the moment. Needs more bass. The second section is a surprise too! A nice surprise. Both parts build really nicely. This is inspiring me to make some jazzy stuff as well. Could be mastered a lot better, but it's a great track so it's a great listen anyway. I was going to follow you on SoundCloud but I'm following you already :v: Great work, man. -----

The vibes and drums work well together, a sort of alt-hiphop lofi vibe. Although some of the melodies and harmonies are kind of dissonant, at least to my ears, like at 0:33 onwards. The polyrhythm percussion like at 1:13 is really nice. As it's panned right it makes me want a second polyrhythm percussion element on the left and they can trade phrases or something. You always come up with really interesting ideas, they're great to listen to for inspiration and coming up with different musical 'solutions'. -----

I always look forward to listening to your stuff Anax. Your crazy drums are great, remind me of early Flashbulb. This particular one is interesting though. The samples give it a nice texture. Eager to hear the rest of this. Finish some tracks damnit :v: ----- And now I have a track to post. Been listening to a lot of Om Unit, so I've been feeling inspired by that sort of half or quarter time rhythm, with big synths. The mixing and levels are a bit funky. But I’m liking the direction. Feels like it’s missing something but I don’t want to overcomplicate.
Feeling a bit exotic today - I in no way claim to be a ukulele player.
New track coming out 25/11 on beatport
Sounding pretty sweet man! A little Moombah track I've been working on. First time using an Acoustic Bass sound in any form in a song. Thought it turned out nicely. It's private, so I only have a hyper-link, since you can't embed private sounds, for some reason. https://soundcloud.com/bull04/moombah-swag/s-EkEZD
I'd recommend getting some better drums samples (are those default FL Studio ones?) You can definitely hear how they'd fit into the structure of the track. i'm using the machine, I just haven't gone through and selected the best set of drums/or done any filtering/mastering on them yet. I tend to deal with my song structure first but i've been doing a few prac tracks doing it the other way around
sort of finished: also, I'm not entirely happy with the ending/climax. If someone could give me some tips on what to do with it, that would be fantastic. Thanks!
I'm just very emotional right now and this is all I will gather for today fuck I hate all.
