Thought maybe I should post a video of my band:

Our keyboard player couldn't make it due to being sick.
We have a better quality version, but I prefer watching the one above.
Upcoming remix for David Orton (live band member for Gabrielle Aplin!!!)

I thought the guitarist was Stephen Merchant for a second, really looks like him.

Dunno what more, if anything I can do with this track atm, nearly completed

these are soundscapes for a counter strike map i'm making,
i don't usually master with such heavy bass, but in game it creates a nice dsp reverb effect
also the parts dont flow together very well here, but in game the soundscape system blends them together :p

Oh my god thanks so much man!
Would love to hear your thoughts on the other tracks of the EP once it's out :v:
I tried experimenting with new ways of sampling and was kind of happy with how it turned out, but don't really know how to turn this into a ~full~ song.

Fudgeblood, like some of the samples you've used, maybe try getting some more hi end samples like strings - quite a lot of low end. Where did you source your samples?
Heres a track ive been working on, let me know what you guys think

how do I embed the soundcloud player? tried but it doesnt seem to work...
REALLY experimenting here, I don't try to do a sorta 'real life' sound much so making ska digitally is a little tough:

It's not worth listening to for long, but this is just kinda starting out with this genre entirely

Cheers man, I might go back and try that. Might add some more percussion as well.
Samples are from this
Also, remove the s from https if you're media tagging.
Haven't made anything in a while so I decided to try and finish this off. CC?

Making a cover of Gin & Juice, snoop dogg. This isn't the finished version, the vocals are a draft until we record properly and there's meant to be more vocals at the end so I just put something in there for the time being.
Would love some feedback on the mixing etc!

Hey, if you guys have a bit of free time, check out my friend's new album. It's pretty damn good, and I'll forward any criticism I get from you guys to him.

working on something, vocals and probably the rhodes solo thingy need to be totally redone and I'm gonna move around refrains and choruses a bit but this is a sketch of it atleast

Adventure time sample.
Again, this is me messing around on a bass guitar and a guitar that I have no idea how to actually play.
Trying some downtempo sort of stuff.

I got a new guitar!
funk was born out of it for no reasons
i've never played like this before :v:
Any good ways to learn how to sing better, or is it all practice and more practice?
Any good ways to learn how to sing better, or is it all practice and more practice?
There are lots of ways to get better. Record yourself and listen, imitate other artists ways of singing when you do. Sing scales and do voice warm ups. If you play an instrument, sing while you play. Read up on breathing techniques! Also put on instrumental songs and sing improvising.

Breathing is literally the most important thing when it comes to singing, without any support in your breathing you're just gonna sound bad, no matter how good you are at all the other techniques.
trying out different styles

Yeah, I remember recording a song for my boyfriend a while ago- if I didn't sit straight and breathe right, I just wouldn't get enough air to actually project my voice.
today I took a vivance and covered a kinks song. check it out. https://soundcloud.com/chrisb-4/all-day-and-all-of-the-night
Trying to make use of my guitar and my drums.

Messing about with the new black strat.
I love this thing.
New strings and loosened trem makes it even better.

another set of loops for a stage of my game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
[editline]24th December 2013[/editline]
it may seem choppy from one section to the next, but the game engine blends them together depending on the 'action' of the scene based on some vars, not that you care
