I haven't posted on here for a while, so I wanted to post something I made fairly recently. Yet again, no idea what to classify it genre wise, but my best guess would be electronic dance. I rendered it in the highest quality I could, but my mastering/equalization efforts still may show [negatively].

Throw some compression on those drums! Its like im getting hit with a wad of tape instead of being PUNCHED by that snare!
Anyway Here is a small ambient thing I made. It started out a soprano choir test then I wrote in a piano melody and pretty soon it evolved into a dreamy little electronic yip yap smak. Its Love Its Life Its OVER

i don't know if it's become some kind of musical joke but i seem to be hearing more and more people use the notes F, A and G in that order as the main chord progression or a background melody lol
but anyway, really good for your first time making music. there's some pretty nice melodies in there
Been experimenting with some deep house stuff since it's all the fashion these days. Comments on the mix please if possible. I'm not mixing on monitors so chances are it's horrible.

sounds more like tech house to me, but I don't know if there's a significant difference between deep and tech. the mix sounds really good though, I don't hear anything out of place. nice work

Since the south in the United States was hammered with winter weather, I had the day off today. This is what I've been doing with my time. It's a orchestral piece, but I've been experimenting with different harmonies to improve my skill, you'll hear them towards the end. I'll probably write more if I have time.

Wow, that was great. The beginning is badass, but I feel it's kind of out place the rest of your piece. It was like the opening to some really jammin Heavy Metal song. I loved the other parts though, it gave me that feeling of being lost in my thoughts.
