Ok thanks - almost figured myself, but didn't know about the https thing. Ye it has its flaws
I haven't posted on here for a while, so I wanted to post something I made fairly recently. Yet again, no idea what to classify it genre wise, but my best guess would be electronic dance. I rendered it in the highest quality I could, but my mastering/equalization efforts still may show [negatively].
K, I wrote a Piano Concerto for College. Thoughts?
Instrumental ambient hip-hop. Tell me what you think. Might be collaborating with a vocalist soon.
never made music really in my life https://soundcloud.com/jaredrobertson/jungle
Bullshit. If you aren't bullshitting, that's seriously good for a first try and actually has some decent potential
Heres something I did. I got this: and made this shitty midi sound version of it: http://soundcloud.com/jacob-ainsworth-1/etude-on-a-prelude-opus-28-no

Its like im getting hit with a wad of tape instead of being PUNCHED by that snare! Anyway Here is a small ambient thing I made. It started out a soprano choir test then I wrote in a piano melody and pretty soon it evolved into a dreamy little electronic yip yap smak. Its Love Its Life Its OVER
Bullshit. If you aren't bullshitting, that's seriously good for a first try and actually has some decent potential
seriously think so? i'm not bullshitting one bit.
never made music really in my life https://soundcloud.com/jaredrobertson/jungle
i don't know if it's become some kind of musical joke but i seem to be hearing more and more people use the notes F, A and G in that order as the main chord progression or a background melody lol but anyway, really good for your first time making music. there's some pretty nice melodies in there
Been experimenting with some deep house stuff since it's all the fashion these days. Comments on the mix please if possible. I'm not mixing on monitors so chances are it's horrible. https://soundcloud.com/nightclarity/sensible-haircut
heres a shit thats a little different from the other shits i've done
Nice! I like this. Snare could be a little more punchier though, like Mysterious Mr. E said. I haven't posted anything myself around these here parts for a while, since I've been writing new stuff (and finishing it) to form myself a little EP. Here's a snippet of one of the tracks: It's 'crossbreed': a hybrid between hardcore/gabber and DnB. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoy making it.
i'm sad so i made a song
remastered and skewed around with really need to start making my own stuff
very much likesdfsdfa. I think there could be a bit of a lowcut or something in the earlier parts to ease the initial intensity and make room for progression; and I like the direction it heads at 1:37. sik drumz yo
Since the south in the United States was hammered with winter weather, I had the day off today. This is what I've been doing with my time. It's a orchestral piece, but I've been experimenting with different harmonies to improve my skill, you'll hear them towards the end. I'll probably write more if I have time. could I get some criticism on this? Thank you!
could I get some criticism on this? Thank you!
Wow, that was great. The beginning is badass, but I feel it's kind of out place the rest of your piece. It was like the opening to some really jammin Heavy Metal song. I loved the other parts though, it gave me that feeling of being lost in my thoughts.
Covered some aphex twin after I got my hands on some some guitar tabs.
a little loop i made on garage band on the ipad. looking for mixing advice and layering ideas
Probably some of the best I've scored so far. Proud with this one. Still aggravated that I don't have a VSL. Sibelius sounds will have to do for now until I get a good one.
