phwoooarrrr this is good
I didn't know there was a music section on here! I'm going to spend the rest of the day listening to all these soundcloud clips haha.
After a couple of months of not playing guitar I decided to start again yesterday night. I wrote and recorded the following:

Man, the drum track sounds like it was lifted straight out of Painkiller. Anyways first and foremost, you should definitely get yourself a Soundcloud as well. As for the music I'd recommend refining your amp settings, digital or otherwise, as the sound doesn't really sit well, with me at least, despite you having some solid playing skill.

Man, this is really good.
I get a total Flying Lotus-esque vibe from it. Really atmospheric.

Here the 2 version of a theme I made for a Cry Of Fear Custom Campaign.

no drums. working on eqing parts. any recommendations on separating slap and low bass?
im thinking of recording two separate tracks and eqing them separately. also need advice on guitar tone, is the rhythm bright enough or should i accentuate a specific frequency with each piece. what frequency range does bass usually lie within?

If you're into disgusting offensive noise, literally the worst excuse for music yet. It's probably a little bit illegal but that's the thing I was going for

Wow, I don't know what Beatmaker 2 is but assuming you actually did all of the work writing this I'm incredibly impressed. The five minutes went by super quickly and if the drums would fuck off for the first minute-thirty or so I'd say I enjoyed it immensely. While they don't subtract as much from the rest of the song, the volume and quality of the drums is the only major issue I have. Really cool stuff.
Gave my first attempt at using Kontakt

Hope you enjoy.

Something a bit more upbeat.
Here's a chiptune thing I've been working on.

Does anybody know how I would start with adding drums to my tracks? Until now I've been working with chiptune-y things and that isn't going to work anymore.

Uh, multiple ways:
Ez drummer
Synthesize your own
Use loops
Sample them in a sampler like battery
or just take onehit samples and chuck them into your track and arrange them on the grid
really depends on how much control you want versus how easy you want it to be

added guitar fills and bass to a friends track

I would personally go with Ministry of Rock.
tried making some darker trap/bass style stuff the other day, looks like I might be getting this released on a little EP or something, would anyone be interested in doing a remix?

Sweet, nice atmosphere. I don't really like that clap though. I'd replace it with a nice snappy snare or something.
I just finished this track I started over a year ago. It's loud, industrial, and obnoxious.

This is my attempt at making more experimental music. I didn't think the guitar worked very well at first, but eh.

How do you fucking do it

I don't know if it's because it's too dark, but I think it could feel fuller in the mid-high and treble ranges (some hi-hats could help). I think you should also raise the volume of the synths in general, could help with the emptiness.
It's just my opinion though, I think if you follow my suggestions it may sound less dark.

Make an entire track man. You are good at this style.

Nice, man. Lead sounds ravey, but I didn't like the bassline (I think it's the arp-style "up and down" melody).

And this is the latest track I made, I hope you like it. Got the reese bass and beat style from DnB, the feeling of the arps and pads from Trance, and a piano break. Cause piano goes well with everything.
