Thanks for the advice man, I'll definitely try it out. I was going for a really dark sounding track anyway so I guess I succeeded there :v: would be fun to try a different take on it tho

Not bad! I like the fusion of 8-bit with orchestral! Music definitely is a great outlet for emotion and expression. I love making stuff when I'm in a certain mood, I can always make something now matter how I'm feeling.

I don't know why these old 80's synths and Sega Genesis sounds sounds keep invading my music, but they do. (There's no Sega Genesis sounds in this particular one, but all of the other work in progresses I have sport a fair amount of them.)

Too much low end on those strings, and the bass is too loud during the main part, but its a nice bit of songwriting

As much as I wish I could fix it, the audio interface just blew itself :(

No probs! I recommend everyone new to mixing/mastering check those .pdf's. I found them extremely useful when I was still learning, and not only does it go through the practical basics of the art, but the art itself, and how it can affect you emotionally with harmony/frequencies/etc.

Hahaha, that's what I do to get my bass guitar too, I just use my tele and throw it through a bass amp modeller

its still pretty easy to get the right amount of low end but it is a bit different to a bass guitar
