Movies that you will never ever watch again/on your blacklist

Prometheus, only film I've seen so far that I've actually really disliked and I liked PotC3
AvP and its completely shit sequel
The Starship Trooper sequels
Anyone of the Friedberg/Seltzer "movies"
And here is a controversial one:
2001: A Space Odyssey
Boring, pretentious, and only appealing to those fucks who like to pretend a movie is "deep" or "has a higher meaning" because of some acid trip near the end. At least I got good ASMR from it (and I liked it up until the trippy ass nonsense)

Excuse me? Starship Trooper 2 was horrible, I grant you, but 3 is a wonderful movie, way better than the first one. For one thing, they actually have the fucking maurauder suits that, in the book, they had even before they encountered the bugs. For another, it's got all the ham and cheese you could ask for in a movie.
Never seen 2001, don't know what that other thing is.
I know it's pretty old, but I recently watched Dude Where's My Car for a movie night which it was absolutely atrocious and I wish I could remember who picked it.
Cars 2
I went to go see Rocky Horror Picture Show at one of those live events, and walked out before the movie even started
When you're pulling 13 year old girls on stage for an "orgasm noise contest" you've lost me
Your loss. Seeing Rocky Horror live is awesome.
13 year olds is kind of weird tho

Luckily I'm in a college town so pretty much everyone who sees rocky horror is college aged (except last year we got an older couple ~50s doing the games on stage before the show, which was hilarious)
Norbit and Barnyard. What a load of crap.
Dear Zachary - it's a great film, but it's pretty obvious why I don't want to watch ever again

What's the song at the end of this trailer?
Pitch black. boring
Just about any Nic Cage film.

Except Lord of war. That one was awesome.
I thought he was pretty good in Face/Off
The Wolverine
So bad :(

Hey, Leaving Las Vegas was a great movie. People seem to forget he's actually a great actor, but he needs to pickier about the roles he puts himself in.

I know you said it was a controversial pick, but how in the hell is it even pretentious? During that time we were fascinated with space, everything about it was to demonstrate the beauty of the future, well up until certain parts at least. But even then, it was supposed to be about the visuals and some symbolism here and there. I absolutely hate it when people say shit about it like that, I could understand boring because not everyone can sit through movies like it, but going beyond that is insane.
The Road
it is not a bad movie by any means at all, but it is just so unbelievably depressing that i will never lay eyes on it again
the book was definitely an incredible experience though
Avatar
anything with animated penguins in it.
[editline]11th August 2013[/editline]
I'm not even joking. Happy Feet is the worst film I have ever seen and I only watched it because I was on a holiday and at the same time there was a fucking scout Jubalie so scouts had booked everything out, and the only film me and my cousins could see was Happy Feet.
[editline]11th August 2013[/editline]
I'm not kidding there were scouts fucking everywhere. we went to laser tag and destroyed them tho so that was fun.
Sucker Punch
Dragonball Evolution
The Last Airbender
[editline]11th August 2013[/editline]
im sure there are others but these were particularly horrible
Kickassia

Having the right crowd at a live showing of Rocky Horror is awesome. If the people organizing it know what's up, it is so much fun. I went to a movie theater here in town that was showing it and everyone in the whole place was dressed up. The games were fun and there was an old dude who had been coming to see Rocky Horror like every year since the theater opened in the '80s.
Great experience.
Anything by M. Night Shyamalan that isnt Sixth Sence
Avatar
Visual spectacular watching it in the cinemas on a full sized screen with 3D glasses. But it seems like it would be incredibly boring on a television.
Here comes an unpopular one:
Sin City, why the fuck people like it is beyond me.
The Grudge 3, literally my least liked movie of all time. The first 2 American remakes were decent, but holy hell was the third absolutely horrible and boring. It's a movie I don't want to ever touch again.

i was excited for this back when it came out
and my god was i horrified by how bad it was.
You need to embrace the fact that bad movies can still be fun to watch, if you have the right mindset. The only time they aren't fun is if they are boring and you are watching them alone or with friends who aren't cool with you constantly ripping on the movies. I love to watch Asylum movies because I watch them with friends and make fun of them the whole way through, I tricked a friend into watching The Smurfs in theatre just so we could laugh at the shitfest (and also his shrieks of agony)
The Room is fucking terrible but I loved it because it was funny how bad it was :v:
Anything by M. Night Shyamalan that isnt Sixth Sence
Signs?
the master of disguise.
back when it came out i used to see ads for it all the time, but never got to watch it.
i saw it on netflix one day and since nobody was home to judge me for watching something other than king of the hill, watched it.
it was really bad. i'd like to watch it with friends next time so we can all laugh at the godawfulness of it.
The Hangover II
Olympus Has Fallen
Prometheus
Highlander II
Immortals
Ultraviolet
Transformers and sequels
Expendables and sequels
I'm sure there are plenty others I'm forgetting

Well that says a lot because I hadn't even heard there was a third one.

It is one of my favourite books. I picked it up and started reading it again the other day, but I put it back down because I know I'm going to get sucked in and I'm reading something else already.
Max Payne.
It's not only a terrible adaptation, it's a terrible movie overall.
The hungergames.

i actually had to stop watching it, that's how bad it was.

I walked out of the movie theater. Later I downloaded extended version, thinking "Hey, maybe they cut the best things out of theatrical version".
I will never make that mistake again.
