papers, please? spelunky? cave story? another world? dust an elysian tale? banished?
Mount & Blade was originally done by 2-3 people iirc.
Imo I think it's banned on twitch because the game potentially lets you murder teenage school students in all kinds of creative ways inside their school
People (especially on reddit) talk a lot about rape. What rape? There is no sex, implied or shown.
Because they haven't actually played the game. [editline]24th January 2017[/editline]
Mount & Blade was originally done by 2-3 people iirc.
Ska Studios is made up of a dude and his wife making video games. With full releases such as The Dishwasher, Salt and Sanctuary, and Charlie Murder. They even had a bunch of lost games on PC like Survival Crisis Z and the Zombie Smasher series.
Mount & Blade was originally done by 2-3 people iirc.
If we're taking two man teams into account, Velez and Dubail are fucking incredible at pushing handheld hardware:
And why are we comparing YanSim to Hitman and Postal? I don't remember neither of the Postal Dude or 47 going to high schools to murder and torture teenagers
And why are we comparing YanSim to Hitman and Postal? I don't remember neither of the Postal Dude or 47 going to high schools to murder and torture teenagers
He was pretty close to killing children in an elementary school. But went insane before he could do any damage. [editline]24th January 2017[/editline] So yeah, not even Postal would step on that kind of territory lol
And why are we comparing YanSim to Hitman and Postal? I don't remember neither of the Postal Dude or 47 going to high schools to murder and torture teenagers
Yandere Simulator is directly inspired by Hitman, Hitman is one of the games biggest influences and the core gameplay mechanic of 'find and kill target' is the same in both Yandere Sim and Hitman.
Yandere Simulator is directly inspired by Hitman, Hitman is one of the games biggest influences and the core gameplay mechanic of 'find and kill target' is the same in both Yandere Sim and Hitman.
I wasn't talking about inspired mechanics from Hitman, I was saying that an adult who kills other adults isn't morally the same as a teenager who brutally kills and tortures other teenagers inside of a high school building
I wasn't talking about inspired mechanics from Hitman, I was saying that an adult who kills other adults isn't morally the same as a teenager who brutally kills and tortures other teenagers inside of a high school building
They're 18 year old adults inside of a high school building.
They're 18 year old adults inside of a high school building.
Afaik 18 year olds are considered teenagers, otherwise it shouldn't say eightteen year old
Afaik 18 year olds are considered teenagers, otherwise it shouldn't say eightteen year old
We can go with the legal definition or the entirely subjective and arbitrary one we both defined for ourselves, but that really won't get anyone anywhere. The essence of this thread's previous four pages is that just because your feelings are hurt it doesn't justify the Twitch ban, because the reasons for the ban appear to be entirely arbitrary and weren't stated at all for over a year now.

The essence of this thread's previous four pages is that just because your feelings are hurt it doesn't justify the Twitch ban, because the reasons for the ban appear to be entirely arbitrary and weren't stated at all for over a year now.
The ban reason was always there To add over that it's entirely inside of a highschool, currently there's hardly anything to do other than murder students or torture rivals, and I could tell from his videos he's always adding more ways to kill students and improving the torture scenes, while the rest of the actions you can do seemed insignificant
The ban reason was always there
Those are general guidelines that the game didn't even break as it doesn't focus exclusively on violence and the gore isn't gratuitous or extreme, especially compared to some other games not banned on twitch. The rest of your post is just your feelings getting hurt again, I can't help you with that.
They're 18 year old adults inside of a high school building.
I really fucking hate when people use this excuse "Oh she looks 15 years old? nah dude it's your imagination she's actually 20 years old" "This girl? she looks 14 but she's totally 18, trust me all my characters are totally legal and not underage, they just look young!"

And maybe you can fully read my posts, I don't understand how stating my opinion = I have hurt feelings Aside from obviously being the most worked on part of the game is the murder and torture, I think the reason the game was banned because all of that is happening inside of a highschool
Cutting someone into 5 pieces with a saw isn't gratuitous? And maybe you can fully read my posts, I don't understand how stating my opinion = I have hurt feelings Aside from obviously being the most worked on part of the game is the murder and torture, I think the reason the game was banned because all of that is happening inside of a highschool
Because "it happening inside of a highschool" is just the moral line you drew for yourself. You personally dislike it when that line is crossed, that's why you think the ban is justified despite no such criteria being defined under Twitch's guidelines. On the other hand, some people grow uneasy when murder takes place period, so why aren't we using those people's opinions to ban some games that actually do focus exclusively on murder, such as most first person shooters? Because it would be ridiculous. Tons and tons of games would end up banned just because someone out there holds an opinion that doesn't approve of them. This is why it's important to at least try to be objective about this kind of thing. Also, "being the most worked on part" doesn't make it an exclusive part.
We can go with the legal definition or the entirely subjective and arbitrary one we both defined for ourselves, but that really won't get anyone anywhere.
I've never heard of a legal definiton. A teenager is objectively anyone between ages 13-19 (numbers ending with -teen).
teen·ag·er (tēn′ā′jər) A person between the ages of 13 and 19; an adolescent.

I really fucking hate when people use this excuse "Oh she looks 15 years old? nah dude it's your imagination she's actually 20 years old" "This girl? she looks 14 but she's totally 18, trust me all my characters are totally legal and not underage, they just look young!"
Japanese people keep some traits europeans would typically associate with younger people longer, specifically the rounded face and it's not like an anime character has much more detail than the shape of their head. I think a good bit of people weirding out about why anime characters look too young or often way too old when anime tries to depict western characters is related to this. Going on a tangent but a lot of people see anime and think they're depicting americans or something, but when they actually try to depict an american they have a huge nose and a ton of ludicrous stereotypes. It's just how it goes, cartoon characters are *blank* and you only fill in the details when you want to point out an important difference like the one american in some show will end up having that huge nose even if other characters dont even have noses.

It's a game dedicated to murdering the shit out of demons in gruesome ways. Why doesn't Killing Floor 2 fall under it? It's got a system that lets you coat the map in blood, and it's entirely about murdering the shit out of Zeds in gruesome ways. There are games equally or more gorey than Yandere Simulator that are perfectly fine on twitch, so I think it's kinda dumb to argue it's banned for gore. Regardless of why it's banned, twitch needs to say WHY it's banned. This is all silly speculation that would stop as soon as they explained why the game is banned.

Innocence is a big factor. Think about the No Russian mission from COD:MW2 for example - why was that so controversial?
they aren't innocent they talked to senpai that is unacceptable
I really fucking hate when people use this excuse "Oh she looks 15 years old? nah dude it's your imagination she's actually 20 years old" "This girl? she looks 14 but she's totally 18, trust me all my characters are totally legal and not underage, they just look young!"
She's actually a 300 year old witch I swear.
the way he pronounces yandere, it's just wrong and the way he talks really bothers me its kind of creepy and awkward

I don't know man, the gore and nudity in Yandere Sim is rather mild.
