I have a few issues here on my desk I borrowed from my father and this looks nothing like anime good sir.
What do you mean jumping to conclusions? It looks like fucking japanese anime! I don't like japanese literature, so get off my fucking back!
The author and artist are from Kentucky...Pretty sure that there is no Japanese people there...
That image of the comic (on the left) reminded me of anime that tried to lay off the big eyes and such. You cannot tell me that the way his eyes are drawn, that it does not resemble anime in the least bit. Just that one image, don't post other western comics like that in an attempt to make me look like an asshole. Jeez, it's all Keyblades and Brimstone when i don't like something.

If something's good it's good, you'd have to be one thick motherfucker to hate something just because of who writes it.
It's just my opinion. I've read manga and seen anime that have similar artistic style. Now this is my first impression, even though I'm not going to read it.
Oh no anime, run awaaayyy
It's just my opinion. I've read manga and seen anime that have similar artistic style. Now this is my first impression, even though I'm not going to read it.
Then why post if your not gonna read it?
I just thought I'd put my 2 xenophobic cents in.
This thread is about recommending a comic that ,in my honest opinion, is amazing. If you have no desire to consider reading a image based story telling device to to the artistic genre, than you need not to post your desire, just to know that this fact is safely tucked inside your head.
Is there any way to read it online? The more I read about it the more interesting it seems.
What do you mean jumping to conclusions? It looks like fucking japanese anime! I don't like japanese literature, so get off my fucking back! I'm still not going to read it.
Wow you must be living in a box considering the amount you're about to get when people view this thread.
Is there any way to read it online? The more I read about it the more interesting it seems.

Whoo, love those comics. I have most of them, but I read the rest on a site with the latest comic updated.
Apparently.
Alright, if this helps... I saw the thread and i got excited, then i saw the art style and i went ::suicide:: . Then I thought, "Well i shoud post my opinion" (You never said DON'T POST IF YOU HAVE OBJECTIONS). I didn't think you'd go a Sora in my face, yet again you do have an anime avatar so shame on me for posting. Sorry i graced you with my presence.
What I don't get, is how a slight anime resemblance can ruin the whole thing for you. Does story just not matter?
The funny thing, the comic looks nothing like the anime style...there is no resemblance... [editline]12:45AM[/editline] Also, you gonna have to download them if you want to find them.
What I don't get, is how a slight anime resemblance can ruin the whole thing for you. Does story just not matter?
Although I'll give you that the story may be good, but illustrations, I believe, are important to the comic genre (being that they're drawn), but since zombie survival has been done over and over so much that I wouldn't care that much if i missed out, but if I don'y like the art style, then it's a real distraction(to me). @Bradley10000 Fuck you

You're getting the thread away from what is actually supposed to be talked about. You're making blind arguments and later correcting them, which makes you look like a close minded idiot. So, again, I say; Get out.
I've read it, it's awesome also ya'll best stop bitchin' ya hear?
Right, because that totally makes up for every zombie movie/game/book/comic/story ever made. :downs:
Since when did idiots that think zombies are remotely possible care about anything but WWZ and the survival guide
Since when did idiots that think zombies are remotely possible care about anything but WWZ and the survival guide
What?
I have issues #1-#9, brilliant comic.
SonofBrim;16680740']Read the zombie survival guide. JUST DO IT.
Thats a great book.

In regards to your hate towards anime/manga whatever. I know plenty of people who dislike anime and manga, they all have their own various reasons and the main criticism amongst these reasons is the art style which most of the time I enjoy (As no doubt you can tell from my avatar and while this will encourage you to disregard my post and flame me whatever). That doesn't mean they have to proclaim their hate for every single anime and manga out there and they don't insult me just because I enjoy them either (Otherwise they wouldn't exactly be friend material would they?) and in fact some of the more expressed haters like a select few of them and comment about them to friends occasionally as well. I'm not an avid watcher/reader and the avatar was mainly chosen on a whim but I still enjoy them. TL;DR There's a difference between disliking something and blindly hating it because you're a sheep. EDIT:
"Well i shoud post my opinion" (You never said DON'T POST IF YOU HAVE OBJECTIONS)
It would be fine to dislike it if your objections made sense and didn't give the completely wrong idea to others. ON TOPIC: I own quite a few of these, up to the third volume if I remember. I like the story but I've never gotten around to buying more of them because I prefer novels.

It also set up for what looks to be an amazing issue #65
Is there any way to read it online? The more I read about it the more interesting it seems.
Yeah, there is. You guys should read the comic called The Goon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Goon Pretty awesome too. @The Question: Um, okay, whatever your opinion is but it's still not anime-related or anything. But well, it's your opinion!
Yeah, there is. You guys should read the comic called The Goon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Goon Pretty awesome too.
How so?
I'll probably end up seeing it in a book store or something some day and picking it up anyway, I'm a sucker for zombie shit. Speaking of which, Every Sigh, the End, best zombie book ever made, read it.
Never heard of that, gonna have to look it up. Also I got issues 1-45 of this, it's good stuff.
