[QUOTE=Sharkcheater;50713071]so CoDMW on pc?[/QUOTE] the video I posted above is the PC version trust me, this Remaster blows the original out of the water in every way besides the voice lines and music being the same, about the only negative is the FOV and that's because it's console demonstration play probably. it's definitely the same base core game, but they didn't just put the game in 1080p, they completely redid all the graphics, assets, lighting, cutscene animation (although weapon/movement for normal stuff seems the same as CoD's been for years now), etc. It could be borderline called a remake in many places.

Honestly I don't know about anyone else but I'm seriously excited for this. Like, almost childlike levels of excitement. Call of Duty 4 was such a huge game for me back in the day and to see that they really care about the remaster rather than a lacklustre rehash makes me seriously enthusiastic about it. It's going to be fantastic.

It is unarguably one of the most influential games of the last generation, it pretty much set up what the majority of FPSes were both in single and multiplayer and that's still going to this day to some extent.

COD4 marks the turning point in the rehashed WWII shooters into a new era of FPSes to the point where most competitive shooters are based on it in some way and it's a shame cus a lot of more creative games might not get the chance to shine in the limelight due to the lack of interest but i'll still enjoy revisiting the story cus it was a really good romp for what it was

I feel bad for Infinity Ward, not only did they debut a massively impressive gameplay trailer, they also remade their best game for free, and yet people are still massively shitting on them for petty reasons like it's in the future, or "it's Call of Duty so it'll probably be scripted"

As said above, lots of people left IW to go elsewhere. Titanfall is for example the work of ex-CoD developers (Respawn Studios)

It costs money as it comes with another game, and it's done by Raven Software. And it will cost money in the future.

It must of suck being an old IW employee who stayed back looking through the source code of the original game knowing that the majority of people who wrote it and did all the models and animation have now left for something bigger while you're still with the old mob

Price, Gaz, and Soap are easily the best-developed characters in FPS history. IW created such a chemistry that can't be seen between fictional character rarely seen in movies, much less video games.

I got goosebumps at Cpt. Price's "WE ARE LEAVING!", such a hype moment in the original. Brings back memories.

I absolutely love playing CoD4. I'm wanting to get back into it, personally. But the lack of an anti-cheat on the console versions kind of kills it for me. Either they disabled the anti-cheat, or people magically unban their consoles within five minutes. Either way, it doesn't seem like anything is being done to combat people who use cheats. Assuming that this is going to be what I hope it is (literally the same game, albeit polished. don't you fucking dare touch my mp44), i'm going to be very happy to see an anti-cheat that's working.
