I wonder if the infinite range suppressed Scorpion will make a comeback. Nothing beats sniping people across maps with it and having them blow up in chat, bonus points for hardcore, back when it was actually good. I find hardcore now to just be kinda obnoxious.

You just take an AK and one-shot everyone, or two shot everyone through the walls. If you come straight from Counter-Strike, you become unbeatable.

Core is too spongy, especially in BO3.

Not to mention with the graphics being what they were, fairly gray and all, sneaking and hiding was actually fairly viable even in core, so in hardcore you really could embrace a stealth playstyle. So, in CoD4, Hardcore was good. Not so much anymore.

Man I should reinstall CoD4 check out multiplayer again. Go camp one of the buildings in Crossfire

You're literaly unbeatable with a silenced skorpion and a ghost loadout. All you have to do is flank and stay out of open areas, and the loadout does the rest. Doing 20-0 on Crossfire or Bloc was hilarious. People got so mad, all you had to do to sneak past them was lie in the grass near a wall and they'd never see you.

Abusing Cage Match to boost was amazing.

I bet they will eventually sell the remaster standalone, but only once the sales from Infinite Warfare start drying up.
