This is one of those times where I wish I had the money to preorder. Sadly, I blew my money on the Steam sales. I love how they're trying to get it to look really good first, taking the Valve approach of "no deadline's ever stopped us before".
Please continue.
Although it's a rabbit character, it wasn't fun when the characters are so agile, bursting into speed like a motherfucker. And jumping forward.. you can hardly even coordinate where you land.. ETC (which makes the fighting a little awkward) have you tried it? you probably have, so do you agree? and something tells me the devs want to keep the characters like that because; rabbits.

Games are way too casual and easy today. I have not tried this game yet but I enjoy viewing all of the video blogs, it is interesting to see the game develop into what it is today. I get upset when people look at this for a second and instantly go "omg furry gay". Furries have given this game a real bad rep for misleading what the game is about. Here are some annoying examples: http://www.ryonani.com/commercial-games/2388-overgrowth-furry-game-development.html http://www.flayrah.com/3019/overgrowth-fighting-game-furry-rabbit-ninjas http://forums.furaffinity.net/threads/32915-Anyone-heard-of-Lugaru-Overgrowth-They-have-furries... This game has nothing to do with that shit and will never have anything to do with that shit. But every thread about overgrowth it always gets brought up. Just try to do some research before you write something.
Anyone who doesn't think rabbits aren't badass needs to read Watership Down.
id buy it if the main character wasn't a furry
The engine looks pretty good, but I'm not a fan of the game's direction. I just find it interesting how he explains the basic things he adds into the engine and what they are, however things like these exist in other engines, it's just cool that he's making his own.
it's a game about rabbits and wolves being developed by wolfire studios there is a certain animal fixation going on here, you must admit [editline]13th July 2011[/editline]
Anyone who doesn't think rabbits are badass needs o read Watership Down.
and you know what, fuck that too rabbits are not badass, and for the record, neither are wolves, foxes or mice. Giant squid are badass. Waterbears are badass. Honey Badgers are badass. These are badass. Rabbits are pussies.
i have a rabbit and hes badass he ate part of our door [editline]13th July 2011[/editline] mom didnt think it was cool but i thought itwas
i have a rabbit and hes badass he ate part of our door [editline]13th July 2011[/editline] mom didnt think it was cool but i thought itwas
I had a rabbit once too then i wised up and got a snake instead cause fucking snakes
There should be a martial art simulator on this engine considering the gore system and awesome ragdolling. Something slower, more precise to contrast the Overgrowth light-fast fighting.
Uh, they keep showing the engine off, but what about the actual game? Also, I hope that character model is a placeholder, otherwise, KaWaIi DeSu DeSu indeed.
There is a slight diffrence between this And this The game aint furry if it just has warrior anthro-rabbits and werewolves
I don't mind the rabbit but I would fucking love if there was a mount and bladeish game on this engine.

That looks badass
That looks badass
If there ever is a custom race mod for skyrim they should look like that.
Who the fuck cares what someone sounds like? He's smarter than you in every single way and you're jealous of that.
That was incredibly uncalled for, rude, baseless, and overall immature as fuck.
I might get this if they replace all the bambi characters with Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris.
Fuck off, you've been on the internet far too long to be unable to distinguish Eastern Design from American Design. Here, can you tell which looks closer to the one in the video? V.S [thumb]http://www.cristianpenas.com/anime/Rabbit.jpg[/thumb] Also, you ended your last sentence three times.
Beatrix Potter is not American I think you'll find. I guess it still counts as western design though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beatrix_Potter
If there ever is a custom race mod for skyrim they should look like that.
maybe a day one furry mod that isn't hideous to everyone except the creator and his mom?
Melee weapons, gibing, and finishers would be pretty nice. Will it be like an RPG/ have RPG elements?
OK guys, there's anthropomorphised animals, and furries. Yeah all furries are anthropomorphised animals, but the opposite isn't true. Here are two examples of graphic novels which feature anthro, but I dare you to call them furry. First is "Inspecteur Canardo" by Benoît Sokal (Belgium) And this is "Blacksad" by Juan Díaz Canales and Juanjo Guarnido (Spain) I just noticed these both feature the main character being depressed and drinking whiskey a lot.
If this is furry than so is fucking bugs bunny and roger rabbit.
