Wild adventures is close to me, it has some cool rides.
I took a trip up to ohio once and went to Kings Island, I was willing to ride every coaster except this one:
I went there for the first time recently with a group of friends and you need to use the Flash Pass. We got on every coaster there. I love that place.
X2 is crazy. It's just a really fast coaster but your seat is hanging off the side of the tracks and spinning around during the ride.

You forgot to mention that it has flamethrowers
I love rollercoasters but I don't really go to amusement parks often. I'd have to say my favourite is The Incredible Hulk at Universal Studios, it was absolutely incredible.

I just went on that on Sunday, was an incredible ride.
You forgot to mention that it has flamethrowers
I did forget to mention the flamethrowers. And that the seats have speakers by the head and when you go up the hill, they have quotes from movies where it sounds like the character is yelling at you. A lot of it is from the drill instructor from Full Metal Jacket.
The last Wooden Roller Coaster In North America is only at the PNE. Vancouver, BC FTW!
The Riddler's Revenge at Six Flags Magic Mountain is super uncomfortable. You stand up during the ride. It's great for a stand up coaster. The line to get on is in a fake warehouse place and it's smelly and stinky because it's so crowded and packed. If you lift your legs off the floor, you get a really cool sensation, almost like free falling. Uncomfortable, but pretty fun.

iv been on rita, its about an hours queueing for a ride thats over in a split second, i recommend it.
I discovered my absolute love of roller coasters a good few months ago. ironically I have since had little chances to go on any more.
I live near-ish to Alton Towers and it's only a bus ride away so I've done every roller coaster they have.
Oblivion was a massive disappointment and I'm glad I did it when the park was closing and the queues was about 15 mins long. It's just a long drop and nothing more.
Nemesis I went on after a 3 hour queue in the burning hot sun so that might have affected my opinion but it was still a good ride. fast and intense. but perhaps no worth that wait.
Rita is good but it seems to suffer from the same fault as Oblivion in the fact that it's just a launch. however I found the lauch much more fun than the drop. one of the best parts is the fear you get when you see the train before yours leave the station in milliseconds and wondering how you'll keep all your vital organs inside your skin when it launches.
Air, my favourite, is an entirely different ride depending on where you sit. At the back (where I imagine Ragawaga sat) the ride is violent and rough (I've found this true of almost all roller coasters I've been on however) but at the front. It really is another experience altogether. The turns and swoops are smooth and natural. Possibly the closest you'll get to flying wingless. Ever since all my dreams of flying have used the sensation from the front of Air to imitate the feeling.
This summer I also went on The Big One, a ride in Blackpool sponsored by Pepsi Max. that was good too. 4 times I went on and the drop never ceased to thrill me.
Has anyone been on Griffon? It's at Busch Gardens in Virgina. Looks pretty awesome.

This thing is awesome.(wild adventures)
you go up, then go down, and a huge ark of water surrounds you, then goes back down. So fucking awesome, for like 3 seconds you are in a ark of water that is as big as a church. Then boom!

also at wild adventures(Yes, place where zombie land was filmed)
So fucking cool. The bug.

American themeparks always look bland and empty with the odd rollercoaster here and there, connected by a lake of concrete.
I mean, look at Alton Towers.

All connecting different parts of the park which have different themes.
Also, I'm so proud of my hometown :3:

But seriously, Kraken was great fun. Scarier the fact that before we went on a woman was brought out on a stretcher. Hm.
you forgot to add my penis, 99 % of hot chicks say it was the best ride ever
The 1% is your mother, she didn't enjoy it at all.
Here is the Wild Thing located at ValleyFair, MN

here's another angle

here's another rollercoaster at the same park, this one named The Renegade.

my favorite ride (I haven't been to any other themepark) is The Wild Thing.
I love rollercoasters but I don't really go to amusement parks often. I'd have to say my favourite is The Incredible Hulk at Universal Studios, it was absolutely incredible.

One of my favorite rides of all time. Especially the beginning :-)
That ride is too small.
and it's not for real men
Australia lacks theme parks, and it doesn't help that most of them are located in Queensland, and are quite mediocre compared to the rest of the world.
It's quite sad really.
I'm quite the speed demon. Even though I've only been to one amusement park, and only twice at that, I loved every minute on the only roller coasters/thrill rides I rode.
rollercoasters are dangerous hur :downs: i'm literally never going to live
Oh my god, I love rollercoasters.
My favorites being Nemesis/Shockwave (Drayton Manor) / Air.

I hate how it stops at the top and then drops. I was always to scared to ride in the front just because of that.
But all in all it is a very fun 10 seconds. Rode it about 5 times when I was up there for 3 days.
The truth is this is my limit. I always feel like im going to fly out splatter all over the pavement.

Me being the Trainguy (with two x's at the end), I definetly agree with you there.
But still this is a roller coaster thread.
My favorite experience on a roller coaster was when i was on this dueling coaster, where me and my friend were just give everyone (of whom I knew) on the other train the bird. We lost cause we didn't have much weight in the car, but it was still funny as hell. On another note my hair was pushed back and it stuck for an hour, like hair gel. XD awesome stuff
