Haha, watched a person do a double flip on these!
How easy is it to fall on these things, they look pretty fall-off-able, but I don't know, they look pretty easy on the tutorials.
I'm gonna buy a pair of these when I get a job! :D
How easy is it to fall on these things, they look pretty fall-off-able, but I don't know, they look pretty easy on the tutorials.
The springs probably give you some leverage. Then again, the greater height gives you a higher center of gravity, so who knows.
If they increased speed meaningfully, I'd be interested, as is I don't see anything that suggests they're faster than a good sprint or skates at a decent clip.
Dude. You basically have 7 foot long legs instead of 2-3 foot long legs. Just walking gets you further. Not mentionning the distance you travel more because you're bouncing around on these and spending more time flying through the air before you take your next leap rather than running. It's pretty goddamn simple to realize you're naturally faster with those. Imagine Usain Bolt in these. :v:
Pogo stilts: Breaking your neck the quick way! But seriously, those look badass.
www.GET JUMPING STILTS.com GET 'EM okay Edit: but seriously I'd love to get those
it would be cool to run really fast like a bionic person
MAXIMUM SPEED! really though those are so fucking cool. i wish i had 500 bucks.
I'm saving up for a pair. I can't wait, as I jog to work and this will just make the commute faster. How hard is it to get up after falling, with them strapped to your legs and all?

Holy shit! Awesome!
I read the title as Pogo Shits :v: On-topic: $400? That is a lot (For me), man I want one!

you can get a pair in the us for ~250$ and in the uk for a little cheaper. They are hard as hell to find in the us, i've wanted some of these for a long time, they make you a fucking kangaroo...without the pouch :downs:
We arn't fucking kangoroo's you look fucking retarded with them on. I'll push anyone over i see with those on.
Jealous. You can't afford them I guess. Neither can I. :( Oh, don't make an awesome comeback to make me feel bad and get funnies for saying it. :v:

These look ridiculously unsafe. How many times has your friend wiped out?
I want these for christmas
"Portal" reference right? I get it. Us gamers hehehe. :)
Can you jump on a trampoline with these on?
Can you jump on a trampoline with these on?
I would imagine the platform on the stilts would just puncture the mesh.
I saw these on the discovery channel ages ago, or something similar. You can run really fast in them too, I thought they were an amazing idea. Edit:
We arn't fucking kangoroo's you look fucking retarded with them on. Me wantee.
Fuck man I need some of those. I could run to work, fuck gas.
How easy is it to fall on these things, they look pretty fall-off-able, but I don't know, they look pretty easy on the tutorials.
How easy can you stand on tiptoes? Surface area isn't a major problem.
They look like they have decent grip anyway, the guy was doing flips on rocks and grass.
I have a friend who uses those things as a primary mode of transportation.
I want these to get to class, that would be epic. I would be known around campus, running 40km/h!
These look awesome! It's like bionic legs! Although unsafe... Maybe it's easier to stand up in than it looks like it would be?
