I read so many of his books when I was younger, fantastic writer.
My childhood in writing.
I loved the charlie and chocolate factory and the first movie but the remake was a disgrace
He had to have an artificial hip put in, so he kept his original hip-bone on his writing desk as a paperweight.
Such a brilliant man :v:
this guy is (was) amazing. Boy and Going Solo were great reads, as are the rest of his books.
George's Marvellous Medicine got me into reading books.
I always read the title of The BFG as "The Big Fucking Gun". Played alot of doom back then.
The Witches is the best book ever.
What the fuck are you fucking talking about
The first Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was the best shit ever made
fucking Gene Wilder motherfucker and his scary fucking tunnel
"My candle burns at both end
It may not last the night
But ah! my foes and oh! my friends
It gives a wonderful light"
A brilliant author, I thoroughly enjoyed his novels as a kid.
the twits - best book ever
This guy was a huge part of my Childhood.
He was a great writer.
I liked how he just rolled with ideas in his stories. They're like crazy daydreams.
It's so sad he died :C
I read most of his books but only CCF, BFG and Matilda are the ones I remember the most.
