Naturally I'll do what I can to hold my own in the face of enemies, and just keep posting my artwork and being myself (excluding the technical mistakes I tend to make like posting in individual threads, etc.) I'm sure it is the natural reaction of any newcomer. Either they will submit to the crowd and be shut down or, hold their own.

you know as well as we do that on a forum filled with guys an image of a naked guy in a suggestive pose will be viewed as gay, we have optimistic rating for a reason.

Straight men look at images of naked girls and want to avoid everything else because it's a huge turn-off. It's pretty natural to avoid whatever you dislike, especially sexual preferences.
Women also have more curves, less bulks and are generally more pleasant to look at, for both genders. It is way more natural for both sexes to prefer looking at the female body contra the male body. Not because of sexism, but because it's generally the most attractive looking body.
Most women don't have problems looking at men nor women. Most men have problems looking at men.
