Hmm the video in OP showed some disability chart for U.S. The leading disability was Addiction at 80 million, and after that came Obesity at 70 million. Amputation and such were at about few million..
i've always wanted to ask what at person with a foot fetish thinks of these kinds of things
My fetish is augmented
Soon a Ghost in the Shell world will come into fruition where people start replacing their entire bodies with machines.

I got chills down my spine when he said 'Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the bionic age.'
Why didn't God give him new legs?
If he did that then we would never science and in the end I think this is more awesome.
what the fuck just happened, i swear it was 2001 like a minute ago
I am now no longer afraid to lose my legs, I didn't realize we had come so far so fast.
to be honest if his artificial legs where filled out a little I wouldn't have noticed it. amazing how technology is
T-Tedmed? No, Sarif.
Adapt and overcome Fuck yeah science!
I am now no longer afraid to lose my legs, I didn't realize we had come so far so fast.
I'm still afraid to lose mine It's just not as bad as it was before if I do
I wonder what would happen if he kicked an electric fence, INSTANT RECHARGE.
I am now no longer afraid to lose my legs, I didn't realize we had come so far so fast.
I still would be, I mean after all, those things have to be pretty expensive right?
I still would be, I mean after all, those things have to be pretty expensive right?
I guess you're right, I wonder if insurance could cover it?
A few million is a lot of people.
Yeah sure it's a handful alright, but still if you compare some ~1.5million amputated disabled people to a 80million people with some substance addiction, it clearly shows something.
This is great and all, but go ahead and find technology that can help my mom that has muscular dystrophy... And even if you could, it wouldn't be affordable... Sounds like my mom won't be able to run or jump ever, huh? Yeah, good luck ridding the world of disability...

Your mother's condition might not be fixed by bionics tomorrow. It might not even be fixed before she passes away. However, as long as the technology keeps moving forward, one day people with muscular dystrophy or any other condition that renders people incapable of normal movement will be able to be saved by bionics.

I wish...
If muscles can be replaced with technology, then yes.
I sure hope so.
