Ah. When I was at the field I heard people talking about ctf. Also those california milsim things look pretty cool.
Yeah there's a few medic rules, the next OP im going to has a set of them. One way is lay injured, calling for a medic, that medic has x amount of time to get to you before you go to spawn and another way is having a medic come over to you with a deck of cards, and each card has a time value (Ace=death, king=instant, queen=10 seconds, etc)
Oh so a chance you die/get healed? Sounds pretty cool.
Well, where I play, we only do skirmishes. Spawning again 10 minutes later in the next game keeps you happy. EDIT: ^ Who rated that last post dumb? It isn't is it?
one more -before entering a room,MAKE SURE YOUR SAFETY IS OFF
why
Get ballistic shield. Piss entire team off.
why
You don't know how may times I've found myself caught with my safety ON. It's not a bad habit to get into.
Look at the post date and tell me what's wrong there.
Look at the post date and tell me what's wrong there.
Yes,I know the thread is from 2009
Why would you bother bumping it with something like that?
> You know the enemies location > They don't know yours > Sneak up, check ammo and safety > Shout as you go round the corner to shoot. Ever had a thunder grenade go off next to you and you don't expect it? You get a startled feeling and even though you haven't been shot your disorientated. Shouting at the enemy is a good idea, it startles them and let's them know your boss. Smoke is not good for running through. The best way to use smoke is either as a decoy or a screen - Runnin through smoke means you can easily meet close quarters with enemies by accident. If in doubt, they aren't out Keep spaced. If you are huddled together it is super easy to be sprayed down.
i remember i turned a corner and had a full length m16 barrel pointing less then an inch away from my hand with no glove on. Yes there was blood, Yes i went back to staging and put gloves on after
Same thing happened to me but the barrel went up the sleeve of my bdu and the guy went full auto in there. Luckily all the bbs hit the sleeve and not my arm.
To play CQB you must have all of the following: High speed low drag loadout Shorty AR with folding, or no stock Box mag and 11.1 lipo Or at least thats what all the airsoft retailers say...
You should check the Airsoft 101 section of AirsoftGI.
protip: don't trust your teamates 10 year old SAW to stop firing after the first trigger pull, ever.
Actually a good one is to keep an eye to any potential area where the bad guy pops out I've gotten hit countless times from behind both cqb and outdoor because my teammate was watching the same doorway I was watching
All this talk about corners... This one time I was playing in CQB city, me and a guy both turned the same corner (of a doorway) at the same time. We were walking pretty casually, not guns raised and what not, because the area was mainly controlled by our team. Yet, when we turned the corner, we were about a foot away from eachother, and we both jumped back, instinctively raised our left hands to cover our faces, raised our pistols, and started unloading on each other. As you can imagine, firing a gun sideways with one hand while covering your face with the other and simultaneously trying to get as far away from the door as you can leads to less than accurate shots... After around 3 shots like that I was far enough away from the door that I moved my left hand from my face, and lined up a shot right into the guy's chest, only to realize once I pulled the trigger that my pistol was out of ammo. Saved that guy from a pretty bad welt. Turns out that he was my teammate, and after confirming that none of us got shot by the other we both laughed it off and walked off to get back to business.
Pistols. Use them.
Shoot first, ask no questions whatsoever. Good philosophy for CQB, open terrains and life in general.

MEN! FIX BAYONETS!
I ran out of ammo once and breached a killhouse with my E-Tool once. ALMOST got somebody out with it.
Instead of sticking your face out to look around corners, stick your weapon out with you. With a rifle you hold it sideways so you can shoot and then pop back in, and with a pistol you can sweep the entire corner. Also, when you transition to your secondary, make sure your goddamn primary is slung out of the way. I see a lot of people try to quickdraw and end up banging their weapons together. The trick is to dump your weapon over your left arm (shooting right-handed; three-point sling) so it stays out of the way.
Watch your elbows. Don't go around rubbing all the walls with your elbow raised, like this guy. Chicken wing is bad.
