Here's a CQB tip:
Rock out with your cock out

I'd have said it more. They're all just numbers.
I ran out of ammo once and breached a killhouse with my E-Tool once.
ALMOST got somebody out with it.
I once breached a building with a pistol in the dead of winter. Hence, pistol did not work. Got three kills by sneaking up behind people, shoving it into their backs, and whispering "safety, you can take it or I can shoot you". It worked, somehow.
All this talk about corners...
This one time I was playing in CQB city, me and a guy both turned the same corner (of a doorway) at the same time. We were walking pretty casually, not guns raised and what not, because the area was mainly controlled by our team. Yet, when we turned the corner, we were about a foot away from eachother, and we both jumped back, instinctively raised our left hands to cover our faces, raised our pistols, and started unloading on each other. As you can imagine, firing a gun sideways with one hand while covering your face with the other and simultaneously trying to get as far away from the door as you can leads to less than accurate shots... After around 3 shots like that I was far enough away from the door that I moved my left hand from my face, and lined up a shot right into the guy's chest, only to realize once I pulled the trigger that my pistol was out of ammo. Saved that guy from a pretty bad welt. Turns out that he was my teammate, and after confirming that none of us got shot by the other we both laughed it off and walked off to get back to business.
Reminded me of this
I play on a very narrow CQB building. There is no way to flank around the enemy stealthily or rush without getting shot first.

Glock
No no, he meant cock literally.
Sliding across the floor can and will save your ass at times, and if you think someone is there behind something or around a corner.
90% of the time they are.

Thank you. This is a goldmine.

I'd gone through a few brain aneurysms by about halfway through the page, so I didn't read the second half: "Airsoft Building Assult Tactics"
the person who wrote that is an hero
I know some of it sounds bad but most of it is true
so snipers with their clunky bolt-action rifles are a credible and deadly threat in a CQB situation?
tell me your secrets snipers

a sniper is defined by roll not by kit or operating range.
I'd call it a marksman or forward observer though..
but still.. snipers can go cqb.. of course.
Slide and throw knives. I manage to hit more people this way than with my guns.

I think he means in a MOUT situation. I'd be scanning the upper floors of taller buildings for snipers then.

Yeah, I think that "guide" is more for MOUT environments rather than for movements within a building.
Still, some stupid shit.
Use the right gun for the right job. Multiple times I have seen people trying to snipe with handguns, and using rifles at close quarters.
I could totally use a rifle for close range. And handguns in airsoft can be used at long range if done properly.
I'll occasionally run around with a slingshot loaded with paint balls. It's a good secondary when 1 vs 1 coming around a corner.
If you shot a paintball at me on an airsoft field, I might kick you in the dick.
Hand signals help a lot.
Mine boil down to:
1. Buy some BFG's
2. Stand off from corners when shooting round, dont swing then bring the gun up.
3. Use either a 2 part code word (Piss call, answered by flaps) or numbers (Call a number, the response should add up to the current hour)
I prefer CQB, and in the UK we get some pretty awesome sites.

A lot of these hand signals are crazy obvious or not relevant to airsoft. I mean, thumbs up means "I understand"? No way, right? And the signal for online formation just looks retarded, I bet everyone will be too busy laughing at you to get in formation. The rest of them you can learn from playing Rainbow Six: Vegas, so it's hardly something nobody knew before.

Die in a car fire
My tip: Hi-cap mags are the best for CQB.
Also,Pistols,they're good for clearing Corners.
