I would but my dad is sleeping, he works 12 hour night shifts :p
Finally worked up the balls to email BKP now that the world is ending. :bubblewoop: Gonna need advice from the man himself considering I can't decide what to buy again. Tim Mills is boss. I plan to get some BKP90s for the Yamaha TVL if and when this trade works out :3:
thanks for reply, today I found Epiphone G310, what do you think in comparison with the Z42? also I couldn't find any HSS strat in my price range that doesn't have tremolo :/
Strats generally tend to come with a 1 way tremolo system, as in it will only go down, and will not go up like a floyd rose does. You can take the arm off and it's effectively a fixed bridge.
Or you can just make a strat bridge a floating bridge so it can go up and down? You'll just have minor tuning problems unless you get it set up right.
I don't think he wants a trem bridge though
Scavengers of the Damned by Aiden [editline]Dude[/editline] I had too many tabs open.
wrong thread franke
Just put new strings on my strat. I love this guitar!
Arrrgh I wanna use my Fuzz Face more but I need to wait until my dad wakes up :\
I don't think he wants a trem bridge though
yep, don't want tremolo, I'll probably go with the Z42
as I said, removing the tremolo arm on a single action trem does make it effectively a fixed bridge, and it's there if you want to use it. both are versatile guitars though, so whichever you want I guess.
Playing music > Listening to music > Recording music [editline]21st May 2011[/editline] Here's my set-up by the way:
Arrrgh I wanna use my Fuzz Face more but I need to wait until my dad wakes up :\
turn it up to 11 and wake him up.
christ, enough acoustic stuff?
as I said, removing the tremolo arm on a single action trem does make it effectively a fixed bridge, and it's there if you want to use it. both are versatile guitars though, so whichever you want I guess.
And adjusting the trem claw and springs so that the bridge becomes level with the body again :p
And adjusting the trem claw and springs so that the bridge becomes level with the body again :p
I did say effectively :colbert: I got that strat from the guy I know, no trem arm and it doesn't move a bit. I'm going to get a replacement for that as well as the tuners, cause they can't hold tuning when it's just sitting there
christ, enough acoustic stuff?
Well, the far left acoustic is crap (My first ever guitar, kind of like a toy/real guitar/poop hybrid), the mandolin is hard to play and the intonation on the balalaika is fucked so it's not that much..
Just put 12s on my Schecter. As of yet I'm unconvinced :saddowns:
Just put 12s on my Schecter. As of yet I'm unconvinced :saddowns:
Unconvinced of what?
They sound a bit dull and it's taking some time to get used to the wound G
Clip from my Fuzz Face finally :p SO MUCH FUZZ and thats only with the fuzz knob up 50% :|
They sound a bit dull and it's taking some time to get used to the wound G
Don't use a wound G. I have to buy unwound G strings (hehehe) to play my songs.
Yeah I'm seeing the sense in that. I just bought a pack of 12s and didn't pay attention to whether the G is wound
Oh thank fuck, I finally got it today. I made a deal with the guitar shop. I didn't get quite as much for the guitar I sold them as I wanted but I've been waiting a month for this so here it is. A Gibson 1967 reissue, owned by the band Jet. I'm not a fan of Jet, but it's pretty cool. It came with a massive flight case with tour stickers on it. I'm in love with it, I know how much talk there is about Gibson quality control and overpricing. But I adore this guitar, I'm nowhere near cool enough to play it. But I just have a thing for V shaped guitars like I do for red headed girls.
V's are awesome. I want one. That V is particularly awesome. Congrats :keke:
I am pretty sure I have posted this before but damn, that sound.
I used to have an Epiphone V guitar, it was cool and had a nice sound but it was so uncomfortable to play, impossible while sitting down so I sold it and bought a lite ash Telecaster intead.
Odd, I find it really comfortable sitting down. Although, obviously I can't sit cross legged and have it on my right leg any more.
