So I'm getting my first electric, looked around and saw the ESP LTD F-10. I looked up some videos of people playing it and it sounds pretty good. Any opinions on it?
I used to have an Epiphone V guitar, it was cool and had a nice sound but it was so uncomfortable to play, impossible while sitting down so I sold it and bought a lite ash Telecaster intead.
it's comfortable if you keep your guitar on your left leg like a sane person

[editline]21st May 2011[/editline]
Oh thank fuck, I finally got it today. I made a deal with the guitar shop. I didn't get quite as much for the guitar I sold them as I wanted but I've been waiting a month for this so here it is. A Gibson 1967 reissue, owned by the band Jet. I'm not a fan of Jet, but it's pretty cool. It came with a massive flight case with tour stickers on it. I'm in love with it, I know how much talk there is about Gibson quality control and overpricing. But I adore this guitar, I'm nowhere near cool enough to play it. But I just have a thing for V shaped guitars like I do for red headed girls.
Hngggg I wanted one of those so bad but instead I built my partscaster.

If you don't mind going used, try to find some of the older LTDs. In my experience, older LTDs have better hardware and are built just as well.
Clip from my Fuzz Face finally :p SO MUCH FUZZ and thats only with the fuzz knob up 50% :|
I love it! Make a soundclip with it on 100% and try making it sound good or fitting :v:
Just restrung my G&L with 10s, down from 11s and gave it a re-setup. Looking forward to jamming with the Fuzz Face tomorrow using this setup.
Can I ask a favor from someone? I'd like to register at this website, but any time I try to register, it says my email is banned. Even though I've never registered or even been on that website. I tried registering about a year ago with the same problem. Is there any way one of you guys could be nice enough to register there and message the ned about the problem? Somehow plenty of people can register there, but I can't and it sucks. I've tried multiple emails too. I looked around everywhere to try and contact the owner, even on his linkedin page, but his email is hidden. Thanks a lot if someone can help. PS: I'd link them to this post instead of having to explain it.
i can't find the VIP code so I can't help... it's also managed by a certain Edward Cullen [editline]22nd May 2011[/editline] anyways: should i teach two ten yearolds the basics of guitar? i know pretty much nothing of music theory so is it a good choice to do it or not
it's comfortable if you keep your guitar on your left leg like a sane person
Keep in mind I was about 11 at the time. I got the money from a singing job for some childrens show that never got made.

Going by numbers, F-50 should be a step up or similar at least to F-10, so, uh, yeah, cool first guitar. Bad cleans, decent distortion if you've never touched a decent guitar - after you do you won't even be able to look at the F-50 without feeling weak
Okay, thanks.
I sooooo want a Danelectro.. they're the only "ugly" guitars I genuinely love despite their hideous shapes and they sound fantastic. I want this one. Definitely getting one in Aqua no matter what model.
\ I'm getting one this summer, in yellow :3
Here's a much nicer recording from my Fuzz Face.. got different amp settings this time so it sounds much smoother. [editline]22nd May 2011[/editline] Oh and the entire thing is recorded with the pedal ON.. I use the guitars volume to control the amount of gain/fuzz coming through the amp, this thing pumps out even when my guitar is turned down to around 1-2 on the volume knobby.

Flying V's have always looked their absolute best in Cherry Red, Glossy Black, or all White.

Thanks a lot. I contacted the Tokai company's email response, and they have no idea why it's happening either.
Thought I'd post this on this page since I got last post on the previous page :\ Here's a much nicer recording from my Fuzz Face.. got different amp settings this time so it sounds much smoother. I want a fuzz now.
I love fuzz. It's the ultimate type of pedal. Some are harder to get used to or dial in a nice sound right away.. My amp was set up one way and it sounded incredible harsh and unusable with my Fuzz Face and then I tweaked it today and it sounds what it does in that clip I posted. And the various different kinds of fuzz is overwhelming. Big Muff and Fuzz Face fuzz are my favorites.
I need a fuzz and a Crybaby wah, only got a DS-1 distortion pedal right now. Could probably use a better amp too, instead of using this tiny 15 watt practice amp.
Amp first then everything else imo
my god cheapest pod xt i have ever laid my eyes on. it will be mine!!!!
I've finally got the hang of pinch harmonics! Took me about 3 months of practising, but hey.
Current iteration of my pedal board, messy but whatever.
I need to get myself a fuzz face
Current iteration of my pedal board, messy but whatever.
How much did you pay for the El Capistan?
How much did you pay for the El Capistan?
£250 >_>
£250 >_>
holy fuck. i can hardly justify myself buying a $200 pedal. Plus, that's in pounds so it's equivalent to $405 us dollars.
Yep. Took a dive, not even a slither of buyers remorse, I LOVE it. And more to the point I already spent about £150 that week on other pedals too.. I have a problem :| I'm already looking to buy another Big Muff.. I really miss some good old muff fuzz, since mine broke last month. Though I am hunting for one as cheap as possible until I can get around to sending my other one off for repair.
