I just don't like the gain, it kind of gets annoying when notes are sustaining as it is sort of an undefined noise that doesn't add to the playing. Here's my Casino and VOX Pathfinder 10;
It's a very digital tone Not a bad tone, but a lot of people dislike digital now and days. I think it's such a cold tone, but it's not bad at all.

Reminds me of why I'm hating GR4 right now, that same sort of fizzly undefined blob trail on everything when you crank it.
So my speaker is rated at 25W in my Peavey Vypyr 15W amp. Is that normal?
Just means it can handle the output of an amp with up to 25w of power.
Oh that makes sense.
I'm so impatient. I really want to get paid so I can start working on this custom build. Being my first build it's gonna be way fun. I'll be sure to take pics or make videos of the progress.
It's gonna be my first build as well, good luck man...
I should get some practice in transcribing songs. Maybe two songs a week could be a goal. Or I could try one song and record the results.
I like the second idea a little more.
Another acoustic thing-a-ma-jigg. C & C please.
Sound/recording quality is pretty good, the playing however isn't overly tight. The rhythm part actually sounds ok kinda messy, it adds a bit of a human touch, but there are parts where I can hear two tracks quite out of sync. You just need to work on your timing, make sure you record with a metronome or a click track if you are recording multiple parts. The leads are ok, but you need to work on your phrasing. It's something that comes with time and experience, and I'm still working on my phrasing as well during improvisation. Perhaps you would be better off writing your solos beforehand for now. The atmosphere is nice though, and as I said it sounds pretty good, so keep it up :)
The clean is fine and then comes distortion i mean horriblestortion
I remember I was chillin' in my music shop waiting for my teacher and some guy was buying a few pedals. One of the guys who works at the shop walks up and looks through them and goes "No distortion?" in a joking tone and the guy (who is an older dude) looks at him and says "Do I look distorted?"
My gear was stolen about 5 months ago. Can anyone convince me to save up for another amp and guitar?
Yes. Buy another amp and guitar. Convinced?
My gear was stolen about 5 months ago. Can anyone convince me to save up for another amp and guitar?
Wow, who did that. :saddowns: If you enjoyed it, there's no reason to not pick it up again, aside from lack of security. Also, all the coolkids have avatars facing their posts.
It's not that easy. I have to support myself and am barely making $5 excess a week after all the bills are payed and I've fed myself.
If you're that strapped for cash, wait.
Ask any mates if they have any spare guitars.
The only thing my buddies are good for are spare PS3 controllers, unfornately
Plural? Build a guitar from them.
It's not that easy. I have to support myself and am barely making $5 excess a week after all the bills are payed and I've fed myself.
Steal an amp and guitar. but in all reality just wait until you can afford it dude
