My try at an acoustic breakdown. And a cool thing at the end

Bought the first of many effects pedals I'm going to be buying this month.
I tend to stick to ebay and auction/used sales when it comes to pedals, you almost always get a better deal.
First purchase for £19 (£30 including delivery) I got a Bulgarian made refurbished vintage Phaser pedal, the refurbished parts are Russian/USSR made from ages ago.
Looking forward to getting it but its gonna take 11-20 days to get here since it's coming from Bulgaria :p
be sure to paint it red if it isn't already
Is anyone on here good at recognizing chords just from audio? I'm trying to figure out the chords in the song "New Skin" by a band called The Mission In Motion, but I suck at it. Any help would be appreciated. All I know about it is that the tuning is :CGCFAD
Here is video/audio for you good people.

Not that anybody cares here but I mastered and improved my little thing I made like 20 pages back there! The result from start to end is pretty cool in comparement!

Mastering is dominate.
I'd like to try playing a guitar but I'm horribly awful at it, my fingers doesn't go where I want unless they are controlling my camera, I get confused with notes and chords and tones and all of that shit, but I love the sounds they make when pros do it.
Advice?
Get an delay effect pedal and lots of distortion! Listen to dragonforce for a week and you're set dude.

Happy april fools day
I can't really help you out there man, all I can say is it takes time and you should start slow and always try to play stuff clean without mistakes! Slow it down then play the same thing over and over till you can make that faster without flaws  that's one advice from 173512373557819 other ones.
A what what and I could but the only thing I find dragonforce is useful for is playing their songs in Audiosurf.

Yeah that sounds more like advice. :v:

Get 5 different distortion pedals and 3 different delay pedals
3 tube screamers, and 2 wah pedals.
All on max output.
Enable them all, and then play the wahs like double bass drum pedals.
If this doesn't get you bitches, nothing will.
Seriously though start slow and simple. Focus on proper technique and fretting, because if you cannot play simple material cleanly, then harder material will only sound so much worse. Finger technique and proper muting/damping of strings is more important than most people seem to think.

Ha! It's only a quick sound demo that I could fiddle faddle around on it, I also havent got a tab of that but I might make one
I use 15-80 strings in drop E (bass octave) so I quess you want to make that a whole octave higher :v:?

C-Standard tabs are such a bitch to convert to E-Standard with a low B string :(
I tried recording a quick cover.

I enjoy fuzz pedals.
I didnt realise this was the dubstep thread :v:
I really need to buy a good compression pedal, A lot of guitarists dislike it but amps just aren't as compressed sounding as they were back in the now vintage days, with the (pretty shitty) built in compressor "pedal" in my amp I can get a pretty wicked Bassman/Deluxe Reverb-ish tone from my amp along with my gauge 12 strings it's feckin wicked sounding but a standalone pedal compressor would be amazing.
It's next on the list for this months "haul" :p

I converted my version one octave higher and did let the distorted bass in the original octave so there we have the standart tuning sound!
[B]Sounds awehsom to meh

the beginning bit sounds like
2nd fret then 3rd fret on the low E then moves up to 3rd fret to 5th fret im not very good at learning by ear but it sounds similar.
im probaly wrong tho
You can have the drums only, it's non mastered!
record whatever you want over it! But make sure to show it here :v:
i might just do that, my mastering sucks though but i will give it a try :P

Beginning is 2.. 3-2.... and so on then its 3/6\2 ... 3-6-2-222... then its a bit more complicated around the 13 fret 7th and 8th and the end riff is just madness to tab out right now :v: do whatever you want! I want to hear more recordings in this thread

Oh shiiiit, the guy I bought that vintage USSR phaser from said he has a compressor from the same "line", £19 again.

I made mine using tons of samples all over the net found over the years and LOTS OF EQ and double tweaking lots of different sounds on the same hit with different EQ's.. time consuming stuff that is.. Fuck EZDrummer seriously :v: It is good but it's way harder to work with than the way I do my music! And EZdrummer just sounds to flat and is way harder to master.
