More strings the better?
But what would you do with the same string twice? That's the realm of 12 strings.
But what would you do with the same string twice? That's the realm of 12 strings.
Super fat power chords?
Super fat power chords?
they're fatter with another octave/fifth in the bass :colbert: I mean the octave of the fifth of a power chord added to the power chord v:v:v
I'm just making this up as I go along man, I'm being silly :buddy:
yeah i know v:v:v just playing a lower octave wouldnt even add anything to a power chord really
This may not be the right place, but how hard is it to play banjo? I just think banjos sound fucking awesome and I want to learn how play it. :v:
It's about as open ended as any other string instrument, there are always successful hacks and virtuosos, just depends how far you want to go. Incorporating some banjo and country techniques is a cool way to expand your guitar playing too, it may have the piss taken out of it a lot but I'll be damned if session country players can't play
Ibanez just released a preview of their new models http://www.ibanez.co.jp/eu/news/f_products/2011/Xseries/index.html
Christ those are hideous
Christ those are hideous
Yeah, imo Ibanez' last good progression was creating the RGD series. The rest just sucks.
When will Ibanez release an Iceman 7? Since i'm being woefully unrealistic I'll ask for it with a thick neck too :v:
I might just buy a new (as apposed to waiting for another auction on ebay) Way Huge Swollen Pickle Fuzz tomorrow when I go and pick up my guitar from the tech. It's £100 but I rreeeeally want this pedal to be my main fuzz pedal. The Big Muff is nice and it will never leave my board but it literally does 1 good sound, the Swollen Pickle is sooo damn diverse in comparison. It will get used a ton so I can sort of justify the price.

Ibanez custom shop is only open to endorsees, besides for about a quarter of the price I could make one myself :v: It was more an observation that they really don't exploit the total cool factor of the Iceman in their catalogue
Have any of you guys played any V-Picks picks before? I'm noticing my thumb getting hella sore playing chords with a heavy attack on my bass, and they seem to make sharp tipped and still thick shit (just a big stubby isn't enough, both for the slipperyness, lack of thickness and weird tip.)
LasGunz, if you want a small tube amp, you should go with a samamp. My friend told me about them today and I found a good video review of it.
The guy says it costs twice as much as a Blues Junior lol I'd rather wait and buy the Blues Junior when I can. [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] I dont want to waste money on a small tube amp and then need to spend more when I want a larger one, I'd rather get a decent giggable one and deal with the wrath of noise complaints later. [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] That is a cool amp though.

Am I the only one who thinks Icemans are ugly as hell
Yes. Eat dicks in hell
Am I the only one who thinks Icemans are ugly as hell
I like them. I think they're different without being over the top.
Icemans have a penis.
Icemans have a penis.
I have wanked off my friends Iceman.
Thats gay bro
Icemans are one of the few weird shapes I like I think it's mainly because it isn't very pointy
Icemans, Mockingbirds and just for sheer lolsometul/being an Obscura fanboy, the Steffen Kummerer Ran :neckbeard:
:barf:
:barf:
:barf: Is that some type of weapon?
I can't help but love it for it's complete absurdity :v: [editline]7th April 2011[/editline] That and it looks like an Explorer with anger issues, and I love Explorers :3:
It looks like a Rhoads had sex with its Explorer sibling and had a horribly deformed child [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] The kind you would keep in the basement and never speak about to anyone
I brought my guitar to school today and everyone flocked to me asking if I could play Crazy Train areyoufuckingkiddingme.png
