I brought my guitar to school today and everyone flocked to me asking if I could play Crazy Train areyoufuckingkiddingme.png
...can you?
...can you?
No
I wouldn't mind getting an iceman sometime down the track.
Am I the only one who thinks Icemans are ugly as hell
I would never buy one and think the people that do are crazy, but it's not the worst thing I've ever seen. "Ugly as hell" is ESP Japan's artist series shit.
Icemans, Mockingbirds and just for sheer lolsometul/being an Obscura fanboy, the Steffen Kummerer Ran [img_thumb]http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/reviewpics/obscuraguitar1.jpg[/img_thumb] :neckbeard:
[img_thumb]http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_a99kYXJvDiU/SNtEtB_7PPI/AAAAAAAABEM/LK3XLwJAYdY/s640/fish+hook+firing-01.jpg[/img_thumb] Also gotta repeat my V-picks y/n question. Also, what do you do with a battery cavity with no batteries in it? [editline]6th April 2011[/editline]
LasGunz, if you want a small tube amp, you should go with a samamp. My friend told me about them today and I found a good video review of it.
Oh god the hum.
Holy fuck this is a mean sounding pedal, I want it now And if Jack Black owns one you know it's good.

That's the pedal I want. Either that or a Roger Mayer Octavia. Those are a lot more expensive, though.
I don't think it's actually Jack Black, but it sounds just like him.
It is.
It is.
Are you sure? Does he really do all those vids? If so, cool.
It's not jack black lol it really irritates me that theres atleast 50 twats commenting "lomg lol jack balck makes gear vioeds? awesem!" It must get on his tits something awful if it annoys me this much.

He sure looks like jack black. Obviously isn't, but he looks and sounds like him :v: [editline]7th April 2011[/editline] The pedal is sort of a Hendrix-copy, you can hear him use it a lot at Filmore East In this I think you can hear it really blare in at 1:20, gives me chills it's such an awesome sound.
I want to believe I want to imagemacro that quote, but i'll be banned.
Necessity being the mother of being fucking nuts, I removed my Agile's tone pot (fuck it, it's always up and I need the added treble temporarily) and used the space to wire in an 18v harness while I make my pup buying decision. Anybody got an idea for another control to stick up through that hole later? Otherwise I'll just mod/buy a no-load pot if only so I don't have it showing. Also, fill battery cavity, y/n.
My G&L Strat's tone pots are pretty cool, one controlls bass and one controls treble, so you can knock out one or the other, have both at 10 for the normal signal or turn both to 0 for the raw mid-range signal. I love my G&L, I've missed it :( Picking it up today from a guitar tech who's had it for nearly 2 weeks.

It would have only taken about a week (he's a busy guy in the first place) and then I couldnt get up this week because I was so busy.. today I'm actually free to get up to the guitar shop.

The thing is.. now that I'm getting to the guitar shop for the first time in a few weeks I won't leave for a few hours.. which is fine except that the longer im there the more I'll want to spend money on new gear. I think I want the Way Huge Swollen Pickle today.. but it is 100 quid but it would fit into my tone and pedalboard perfectly, which I'm also constructing today when I get back.
no gear you buy or plan on buying rings a bell to me i don't know if that's good or bad
no gear you buy or plan on buying rings a bell to me i don't know if that's good or bad
It's mostly for a more classic tone. Well, most of the gear he's recently bought is a lot less well-known, but the Swollen Pickle fuzz is pretty well known.
i need some help mixing guys i recorded this clip just to test some mixing stuff on it. i have added some compression and EQ and i also double tracked it but it sounds so flat and lifeless how do i add depth to it?
Here is a quick video of my Orange Strat
Here is a quick video of my Orange Strat
Those pups sound sweet brah, loving the tone  Could you upload a vid/sample with lower chords? :3:
no gear you buy or plan on buying rings a bell to me i don't know if that's good or bad
This basically:
It's mostly for a more classic tone. Well, most of the gear he's recently bought is a lot less well-known, but the Swollen Pickle fuzz is pretty well known.
I prefer to chose a more niche, lesser known brand over Boss or something because (provided it's a GOOD lesser known brand) they're generally better pedals. The most well known pedals I own are a Cry Baby wah, a Big Muff and now the Way Huge Swollen Pickle, though while it's fairly popular and made by Dunlop, they're still fairly uncommon in my experience. I also buy used, I've only bought 2 brand new pedals out of the 8 i own. I have a small addiction to buying pedals otherwise known as "GAS" :p (gear acquiration syndrome). [editline]7th April 2011[/editline] Also on that note, the Swollen Pickle is very very good but quite noisey. A little disappointingly noisey but it MAY have been the room I was in when I tried it, the amp is surrounded by electronics.
acquiration
God, it feels good to be at the weekend. My Interceptor's tolerable temporarily (18v harness/pup lowering/tone pot removal), I've got most of my purchase list down for saturday, and I found the next thing I need to save up for (Agile Intrepid.) If I can get the hum down (not enough room in the battery cavity so there's a 9v getting snuggly next to the volume pot...sounds a bit shit but at least the output's no longer stupid-high) I'll record something. Anybody know of a good ghetto shielding material?
acquiration
i nant slepl. [editline]7th April 2011[/editline] cant* [editline]7th April 2011[/editline] spell**
