What about the pony
They are too expensive.
Are the ernie ball coated strings as bright as, say the normal strings?
And all can be had for less than $600 each.
That's a Brice (not an Agile), a preamp (not a DSP card or sim), and a not-Telecaster (ESP makes shit in that general shape too, the definitely-not-fender necks are a turnoff.)
My ponies cost more than $600.
sounds good man.
what do you use for drums? - or do you record them yourself?
I use the drumsite demo, but beware it sounds nothing like my drums you hear in the recording! I scavenged sound samples and multisampled them EQ'ing and all that time taking stuff over 2 and a half years. Everything got replaced renewed and relinked by myself :v:

They'd be brighter if anything and they will sound bright for longer.
fuck all coated strings

How can you have such a violent reaction to something like that? How can you possible have a bad experience with something that benefits you?

haha cool.
what do you use to record? pod farm by any chance? care to share your tone? :P
I love and hate being a guitarist and a gear nut. There are so many guitar things shooting about my head right now that I wish would just shut up. I'll never stop wanting gear.
There's about 6 or 7 pedals I really want to get, I need to finish my pedal board.. I'm on the search for an amp that ticks all the boxes I need ticked, I've got a Telecaster on the way.. I'm building a few effects pedals to then hopefully sell on ebay for a decent price, I'm recording some tracks with a friend, Got band practices in College very friday.
I wish my brain could shut out guitar for a few hours but it doesn't seem to want to.
Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

good thing. You'll end up thanking yourself later because you dedicated time that you had spare to practice something thats really worthwhile. I bet people kick themselves in later life for not pursuing something creative like guitar
edit :
your wallet might not thank you though, but it seems your yt money covers alot of it, so why not!
better to waste money on something you really want, than on shitty things
my poor double muff is beaten to shit and only half working :p
I had a Dean 4 string bass just like that that I bought for $20.
worst.
bass.
ever.
whoever thought that was a good shape for an instrument had to be mildly retarded.
all good though, because I sold it two days later for $40.
uhm... okay?
I could honestly not care any less, if I could I wouldn't have a soul to play the guitar with
in short fuck off
haha cool.

To be honest.. I like it oldschool with cheap audacity and my line 6 spider III :c00l: now believe that heh.
Really now, the mxr 10 band EQ I have between my amp and my line in does good then afterwards my mastering experience.. And ofcourse my wonderful prs baritone 27.7 scale with an BKP Painkiller pickup in the bridge using 15-80 strings (in the recording they were already about a half year old heh)
I'm looking to get a bass amp for my Birthday, I have just over £200 to play with but I would rather it around the £100 mark. I would like it to be a modelling amp, as I am playing a few different styles at the moment. I know at my budget I should go for a combo, but does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking a Line 6 lowdown, but has anyone got bad reviews for them or any better suggestions.

How is youtube money bad?
Also, which one of you has/had the Bugera hardon?
Does anyone else really dislike the Boss DS-1 pedal? I use it as a volume pedal, and for distortion I use a Digitech Bad Monkey.

oh wait i mean Kab2tract
How is youtube money bad?
I didn't say the money was bad.. me having it is.
Because I'll want to spend all of it on gear.
You should teach us how to get magic giggling internet money, I hate actually having to do things or pawn shit to afford gear.
I do actually 'work' and put in effort in order to earn this money.. it's just more on the 'dream job' side of things.

I think I'm gonna get one of these bad boys next month

I just realized how much cleaner my playing sounds when my presence is at 5. Even when the amp is overdriven.
how the hell do i say that?
