Oh good, I'm getting a free powersupply next week in return for letting someone borrow my condenser microphone. It's only a temporary powersupply however. It only powers like 5 pedals with 450mA of output.. I'm aiming for something with about 3000mA of output and has multiple inputs for different types of pedals.
i have this to power all my pedals. http://www.voodoolab.com/pedalpower_2.htm cost me £150 but it is worth every penny.
Yeah i'd get one but I'm not ready to drop 150 quid on a powersupply just yet.
what model is it?
http://conklinguitars.com/custom_7_string_bass_fretless_white_with_black_binding.html it's one of their custom shop basses, if you're willing to dump 5 grand on it you can request it with 4 or 5 strings.

Sup guys, what are some songs with good tapping parts I don't really know why, but I've been going on a tapping spree today, and so far I've learned the tapping parts from Eruption, One, Paschendale, Voice of the Soul, Children of the Damned, and Painkiller

Just ordered a gold bridge and additional parts for my stratocaster build. I was just about to order all of the electronics and a pickguard when I realised I don't get paid until the 6th so I just bought the bridge for now and I'll get the rest later. My mate is selling me stock fender pickups for £30 too! I'm really looking forward to finishing this guitar now. It's basically going to sound like a fender by the end of it. I'll probably swap out one or more of the pickups in the future but for now I'm just happy I'm getting everything so cheap. I'm basically building a mexican fender strat that costs £400 new for about £250 from parts I've 'hand' selected. Finishing the paint job tomorrow since it's supposed to be a nice sunny day.
Learn some buckethead, he likes tapping
Don't hurt me but I actually haven't listened to really any Buckethead at all Recommend a few specific songs?
Wrote a percussion bit for my band's new song Lovin it

I think I'm gonna put a Tele neck on my Strat build. The only issue is that Tele neck heels are blocks where as Strat necks have rounded edges.. All I really need to do is round the heel of a Tele neck to fit but I need to get it right soon or I'll start deforming it so much that the neck becomes useless and won't fit at all.

I snapped my high e string last night and forgot to stop by the local store for some strings. Thank god guitar center was open late today for some reason. Strings are expensive there, $6.25! They were also out of my d'addario 13s so I had to settle for some 12's. I'm probably going to slap on a B from that set for my e string
I hate tele necks on strats, tele necks belong on teles.
Meh, I have loads of typical strats and i have a tele.. i thought this would be something unique. I'm also tempted to wire in a tele broadcaster pickup in the neck position. Another interesting point about my guitar build is I'm wiring it as a 4-way instead of a 5-way pickup system so I'm wiring in Neck, Neck-middle, middle-Bridge and Bridge.
Goddamnit why do things have to cost so much moneyyyyy I need like a bazillion things and still haven't ordered replacement pups, it fucking sucks, I'm stuck playing a buzzy low-output POS. And there is no way in hell I'm ordering like one single pup and jury rigging one of these 707s or some shit, I'll go mug a drug dealer before I do anything that hickish.
Another interesting point about my guitar build is I'm wiring it as a 4-way instead of a 5-way pickup system so I'm wiring in Neck, Neck-middle, middle-Bridge and Bridge.
Why, though? All that does is lessen your tone options.
I don't use mid alone on any of my guitars.. I honestly don't think I ever have but I almost never leave neck or neck-mid.. and for me mid-bridge and bridge have their uses but middle alone has no depth or character, especially none that I'm after. That and it further makes this guitar "different". I don't want another straight up stratocaster guitar, I already have 3. I'm doing this different because I have the freedom to since I'm hand picking all the parts seperately.
yeah mine generally stays at mid-bridge, I don't really like the tone for mid
My danecho is oscillating even when switched off. Has a cool sound but not exactly fitting when I want it off, need to get that fixed. Also dropped 40 dollars on two fabtones. Crappy plastic housing, but they'll last me until I can get something nicer.

I'm looking for a guitar. I've been playing bass for about a year and a half and I'm looking to mess around on the other side. Recommendations would be appreciated. I plan on using my bass amp until I can afford a proper guitar one (it's a Roland Micro Cube).
drum machine? also pump up the bass
Sort of like that.
