I saw JB last year. He did a 15 minute acoustic guitar solo going from delta blues, to country, to bluegrass, back to blues, classical, rock, jazz and fusion. It was one of the best things I've ever seen live
His 'blues deluxe' album just kills me, and his 2nd album is a favorite.
Been offered a LTD Viper 407 and a TC Nove Delay in exchange for my 8. Neither are things I would choose initially but the deal is might tempting...

Though that reminds me how much I want a plasmabass...

new guitar. and a cute amp too. kirk hammett signature. not high-end at all but it does the trick and it's better than my old ashbury that had a busted amp jack and cracked body, which i got off a friend for 20 bucks :v:
Bought myself a Crybaby for my birthday today, oh yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah.
The standard one? [editline]6th May 2011[/editline] (GCB-95)
The standard one? [editline]6th May 2011[/editline] (GCB-95)
Yeah
anything that brent hinds plays is obviously sterling, marvelous and impervious to sleeping giants
impervious to anything except bill keliher
Yeah
Prepare to be a little disappointed then. I won't even try and dance around it. It's not a great Wah pedal, you'd think since they invented the damn thing they could make their standard decent. It doesn't have a smooth sweep at all it's almost as if it jumps from bass to treble with no midrange at all. It also kind of sucks tone and get really shrill. You can mod it to give it a nicer midrange and sweep but honestly it's not worth the effort when you could buy a different one. But hey you might get it and love it, that's just my experiece and the general consensus amongst avid pedal users.
Actually, I found it to be pretty decent for a first wah pedal, the sweep is alittle jumpy, but I can work with that, I also reversed the cables and got that kickass seagull effect from Echoes, fuck yeah.
Fair dues.
I just picked up a used Jimi Hendrix signature Dunlop wah for $15 :neckbeard: Works fine but it's really beat up. Would anyone have any idea how old it is? It's a JH-1 "original Thomas design" and the serial number is CBO65305 (I think, it's pretty faded)
Peavey is finally suing Bugera/Behringer :v: http://www.premierguitar.com/Magazine/Issue/Daily/News/Peavey_Electronics_Corporation_Files_Multiple_Federal_Lawsuits_Against_Behringer.aspx Waiting for Kab

Bit of an old photo, my current pedalboard is a Boss CS3 > Little Big Muff > EHX Small Stone > EHX Memory Boy > Marshall Reflector > Line 6 DL4. Also replaced the bridge on my Jazzmaster and added a mute to it just above the bridge. Anyone else here love Jazzmasters ?
Jazzmasters are the best things
What would be better as a second guitar (current one is a piece of shit SX) an epiphone Les Paul for $664 AUD or an epiphone SG G400 for $630 AUD? These are the prices at the only "music shop" nearbye. No they don't have any Gibsons of Fenders, just epiphones, squires ect. I'll be mainly playing metal and rock with it.
Fair dues.
just wondering what would you recommend for a wah pedal then? i have a gcb-95 as well but im not very happy with it due to the problems you listed, but i also need something with a bit more range.
