I don't hate those people, I reserve my hatred for people that fuck me off massively in person. I hate how they can be so dim, and how they stand by what they've read in the paper without even doing any proper research.

When they say ecstacy, they mean pills/caps which contain shitloads of other drugs, and possibly a tiny bit of actual mdma or mda or mdea, etc etc.
Then people just call the pills/caps ecstacy, without actually finding out if there's even ecstacy in it.
Then if someone dies taking 1 or more of them and the death is reported, what are they going to say they died of? ecstacy. Which leads people to believe that ecstacy kills.
There was this batch of bammer mdma powder or ecstacy pills, i can't remember which, that this guy made in like lower middle cali iirc. gave around 600 people Parkinson's disease or some nasty shit like that.

See, this is why I only take pills from people I trust, and have heard a couple of reviews about them.
And it's always good to know what's in it.
even then there's always that small chance that you're the first or the circumstances are when it all boils down possibly permanently crippling to your health.
in the end it's not the dealer you have to trust, it's the chemist who made it and the people down the ladder who cut it up. it doesn't matter how well you know your dealer, that doesn't put you anywhere near the level you need to be to be completely certain

Yeah I understand that.. but my friends I buy off usually know a fair bit about it and they wouldn't sell it if it wasn't safe. They know their stuff.

Which only proves my point that the graph is misleading. MDMA has never killed anyone, and even with all the drugs mixed into ecstasy I've never ever heard of anyone dying because of the drug alone.

Let's not get overcomplicated here, but simply an OD might kill you (whereas you cant OD from weed for example) the crazy dehydration doesn't help either

Excuse me, I almost killed myself after 1 month of non-stop abuse of MDMA. My serotonyn was like at -100/100 (if you can gauge it like that), due to my abuse of MDMA, so yes, it can kill.
But if you're talking about the chemical itself, I can't be sure.
The effects of it certainly can, however you can overdose from the drug itself. If your liver can't break it down properly for whatever reason then you'll eventually die. The chances of this are minimal though and I'd still consider it to be one of the safest drugs
