In pharmacology a general rule is: You will experience withdrawal for as many months as years you have used benzodiazepines. But it depends on dosage and benzodiazepine half life elimination too.
I'm definitely hitting up my dealer for some Dexedrine tomorrow, Memnoth talking about amphetamines just makes me crave.

and benzos also cause brain damage in huge or prolonged dosages. combine the two and you develop an extremely long lasting tolerance. i know this because i did it myself by eating benzo powders out of the bag. and so have lots of other people.
100mg of diazepam kind of makes an effect, temazepam is completely inactive, alprazolam is the only one that does anything in doses above 10mg...

Though this isn't called brain damage, this is called benzodiazepine induced cognitive dysfunction. This requires about 10 years of perpetual use.

no your withdrawal will go away. you will have a long lasting tolerance though. If you took a normal dose of kpin now, it'd do absolutely nothing. yeah?

Well I'd never take a Kpin again, I wouldn't call it a tolerance but I know your GABA receptors become damaged/different and thus Benzos/GHB/Barbs/etc. don't have as strong of an effect. Tonight is my last day of taking Diazepam to taper off with. 5mg of Diazepam today, I started tapering at 8mg of kpins over 10 months ago. Considering Diazepams half-life I should have Benzos mainly out of my system in ~50 days.

The brand name I take is called Rivotril (2 mg Clonazepam), I say Klonopin since not everyone is familiar with the names of active substances. I take them to come down from amphetamine, I ordered too much of it and gained tolerance. Why does this produce an entire page of discussion?

Oh I know it's difficult, life becomes very unwanted after experiencing Benzo hell for almost a year. I'm only starting to remember my life before my withdrawal.

During my addiction I knew deep down I was addicted and that it was very unhealthy but I never visited the area of my brain that knew this, I didn't want to know. Took an intervention for my to taper off and go to Detox.

that one bit about benzos bothered me.
after an extended period of time, which is different for everyone, but i believe it's around 2-4 months, the withdrawal from benzos lasts around half a year.
it's not a month for every year. either way you're taking 40 milligrams of klonopin a day, which is unheard of. either way withdrawal ways it's gonna suck ass for a long time.
