I've been taking Celexa for almost two months and I've yet to see any negative side effects. Am I in the clear?
I've been taking Celexa for almost two months and I've yet to see any negative side effects. Am I in the clear?
Not necessarily, considering it takes a fair amount of time to build up to effective levels, but it's certainly a good sign.
That really sucks man, I hope you find treatment or something.
I was on SSRI's and same thing yeah. I was only on them for a year though. Took about 6 months to recover from it. Now I take wellbutrin, no sexual side effects. It's less effective but still helps.
Not sure. I'm not a doctor. This drug dealer I know is telling me to take ecstasy.
Sounds legit.
Pharmaceutical industry is a bitch and doctors go with it. They prescribe really awful drugs to kids with depression, ADHD, ADD, etc. :(
The only reason they suck is because overall mental healthcare sucks. It's all experimental and dangerous because these drugs havent been around enough to see its long term effects. It sucks, but your data may help improve the drug and develop a better safer one.
how about you stop taking drugs which alter your delicate brain chemistry and work out the problems you have by yourself? drugs never fix anything, do you seriously want to be on a spiral of this shit for the rest of your life? anyway, how's the farts these days?
The meds I took for ADHD (Which I was misdiagnosed with) when I was little helped speed up my congestive heart failure. What's up?
by the way YOUR DICK DOESN'T WORK BECAUSE YOU'RE ANXIOUS. fix your life and your dick will fix its self. [editline]20th April 2011[/editline] fix its self into another mans butt heh

I say this totally seriously OP, have you ever tried smoking marijuana? It could help with either the libido or the depression. It's something to keep in mind perhaps.

Sometimes in fact, these other models provide drugs to get the client to a 'workable' state, where they can then administer the therapy. To achieve ultimate mental care it takes all models of psychology working together (which is expensive and health insurance usually refuses to cover this).

[editline]21st April 2011[/editline] You don't walk up to people in wheelchairs and go "wow, dude, look at your legs, you must be really fucking anxious eh?".

Crunch, I trust neither western psychiatrists nor the Western pharmaceuticals industry. Think. It's in their best interest to prolong the 'treatment' of a problem for as long as they can.
Anxiety and depression are 2 totally different things which both require different drugs
yes, but they usually come in pairs, most people don't recognise the other if they have one. but whatever. keep nailing the pills, after every single human trait has been wiped from your mind i'm sure you'll be happy. name a good anti anxiety drug
Any of the benzodiazepine class, in moderation.
haha fuck are you serious. you're fucking nuts if you think taking benzos is a good idea for anxiety. 14 days on alprazolam or diazepam etc will get you a nice habit.

Go to brazil and try some strange plant that will fix your headache. There is literally nothing we can do. I mean, its just like technology and the term planned obsoleteness. Where technology is designed to fall apart over time (which is why there is a certain time warranty and what not) Medical care is starting to do the same thing to keep you coming back. Thank goodness there are some physicians that actually want to make you get better.

hi firerain, but i have my own opinions, you may not agree with them but i don't believe most of these drugs work.
hi firerain, but i have my own opinions, you may not agree with them but i don't believe most of these drugs work.
that's not really something you can 'believe' in when there are a bunch of established, peer reviewed studies that suggest otherwise that I could dreg up. It's like saying "yeah well man, the sky being blue, that's just your opinion, man."

I believe that joe588 is a respectable heterosexual doesn't make it true
I believe that joe588 is a respectable heterosexual doesn't make it true
ok buttsex anyway pointless argument. i think if you find the route of your problem then you'll have a better chance dealing with it than you will masking it over with drugs. i accept drugs could be used to help get to the source of it, but if it's your daily routine then you haven't got a chance. fair? bed time.

[editline]20th April 2011[/editline] anyway, i'm a massive hypocrite because i'm on champix to quit smoking lololol
