Is it better than the first one?
It's definitely on par with the first one.
Utter nonsense.
I like how the characters in these movie are basically sentient meaty water baloons
It takes like nothing to hurt them
Why the fuck are they making another one? Every movie is exactly the same thing. It only really worked once and then it got repetetive. I sincerely hope this is the FINAL destination for the series.
Goddammit, I spoiled the ending for myself.
I need more self control to not click spoilers.

Having your Facebook linked under your avatar in situations like this isn't the smartest.
Because a brief glimpse at your profile shows that you like CoD. And CoD absolutely staggers with innovation?
Holy fuck I loved the ending, it was genius.
I thought about it after and it checks out, [sp]the pervy guy used an old terrible mobile phone, there is no mention of the other movies and the girl with glasses has a picture of herself at the roller coaster from the third film. Proves this film took place before the others.[/sp]
This film had a lot more thought and effort put into it, I think people are judging it before they see it or are wanting to dislike it. I thought it was very good.

The 3D was also great. [sp]When the young girl is impaled on the boat it looked amazing, genuinely impressed.[/sp] I also like how the opening sequence was real, not CGI.

It's also the first fresh film in the series, 60% on RT.

On that note, FD2 has unfortunately been bumped off its snug and comfortable number 1 spot in my 'best FD opening' list.
I didn't get a chance to see this, but I did look up the death scenes on youtube.
In other words I basically saw it.... it was okay.

No, you did not.

Without knowing the characters the deaths feel empty.

Implying that these movies contain a plot or character development.

We are discussing a movie you have not seen. You cannot talk about the plot or characters.
You know what I just realized? This movie could've easily been 20 minutes long. Why, you ask? Because [sp]the actual bridge collapse takes place (or begins) while they're still on it. And seeing as Death has been known to pull some seriously weird stuff, he could've easily pulled a few strings to set it right on the spot. That is, unless Death absolutely sucks at improvising (which we know he doesn't).[/sp]

[sp]the coroner's truck also has an old new york license plate[/sp]

I'm sorry, I'm just basing my opinion on the fact that this series, with the exception of maybe the first one, has always been nothing more than montages of people getting maimed in various accidents, strung together by a generic plot and one dimensional characters.
Do you mean to tell me this is any different? Because it doesn't look like it.

Of course it doesn't, you didn't see it.
