most of them are PEDOS?
because hands are the hardest part of the human body to draw.
Cause gloves are cool. 'Nuff said. :3:
iBlewupthemoon is availible in Dragonball Z's universe? Awesome. [editline]09:22PM[/editline] Plus, Mario wears gloves. That's because hands would be too tricky to fit into 8-bit characters.
it's also because mario's a plumber who the fuck would want to put there bare hands in a shitty toilet
Because their hands look like this

I like when this discussion comes up in An Extremely Goofy Movie.
They gave Micky gloves so you could tell his hands apart from his body easily. Most characters have them because they fit with their personality/alignment or just purely a homage to the Disney style characters. Plus it's a lot easier to animate.
With gloves they can prevent getting AIDS.
Vitiligo.
I love the part in "An EXTREMLEY Goofy Movie" where that one guy who likes the spray cheese is like "hey, did you guys ever wonder why were always wearing gloves?" and he looks under his glove and snaps it back. Disney has noticed the glove thing.

No, under that glove is their reproductive organs. Why do you think they wear the gloves? For privacy!
Back in the early days of cartoons, i.e. Disney, gloves were put on characters, mainly because if their black hands were in front of their bodies or a black object, it would be indistinguishable. Walt Disney decided to give Mickey Mouse gloves, just so you'd know where his hands were and what they were doing, if such an occasion arose. The tradition eventually stuck.
