Just because it didn't get many posts doesn't mean it has no potential. Those first three don't even come close to "impossible to discuss without puns" seriously, and the 4th has plenty of room for discussion since it's about kids doing an awesome experiment. None of those come close to "impossible to discuss without puns" this really is going nowhere. Enough already.

And either way, I asked that for clarity. How many times should I say that I'm not trying to push the issue. I was just asking. I'm only looking for threads now and posting about it because craptasket held a ban over my head.

What's wrong with puns/jokes that contribute to topic of the thread? It can potentially invoke a new insight on the topic and at the same time contributes to the thread. If the pun sucks then let the community dumb it down and shun him or something. If it gets out of hand then the moderators can ban them (because they are there to moderate). Everything can be deducted with some logic instead of saying "No means no I am bigger than you so shut up!!!" like a bigot. There's not much to argue against and I'm speaking with honesty, so if there is some plausible retort to my argument then by all means.... How about making a "no puns allowed past page 1" rule? That way if the thread has real discussion potential, then every page past the first one can be expected to be serious discussion.
