DDoS protection? Never knew CloudFlare had that

I just had this loading screen scanning my browser with "DDOS" protector by Cloudfare. Then it said I didn't have a security token. Is that supposed to be effective?

I'm wondering how this "Seth" has enough followers to manage to DDoS the site, even with CloudFlare caching. There can't be that many fans of his cheats who are dedicated enough to form a voluntary botnet, right?

They send a small amount of data to each server with a spoofed ip (Facepunch's) and the server sends back a much larger amount of data.
