My best guess is that it gets triggered if you make too many requests within a certain timeframe, say 5 seconds. So make sure to wait 5 seconds before clicking to a new page.

Has anyone managed to get Facepunch to work in Opera? It just hangs at the browser check screen. I have tried updating opera and it still doesn't work. Even after a complete re-install it doesn't work.

You need javascript enabled. Make sure you're giving FP full access if you are using things like ScriptNo /NoScript for your browser.

Well I can browse FP on Firefox now but javascript is enabled in Chrome but it still won't let me connect in Chrome and I have no idea if it was just luck that I can connect since it didn't work the other 50 times on Firefox
