What I am kind of annoyed about is that I am unable to find my own, or other users, posts and threads. If I for example want to check out an old thread or read some post a hilarious user posted, I am unable to. I am not complaining through, because it is apparently just temporary due to increased traffic and DDoS attacks.

It was in @namespace instead of @include, so it matched every website ever, it was fixed in an update.

I'm currently investigating the possibilities of an auto-updating thread view, especially useful for the E3 thread.

I made a crappy greasemonkey script for that once, it worked okay but it broke the reply box (I couldn't fix it without editing the vB backend). But maybe you can whip something up using the API.

Yeah i was working on something similar, I don't remember what the issue was.

I think it was either one of these approaches that i used

POST http://facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=POSTID

strip out <![CDATA[SHIT]] from postbit returned
make a new node with innerHTML from above string

append first child of new node to ol "posts"

make an empty li with the post id and nothing else, append to ol "posts"
var something = vB_AJAX_PostLoader(postid)
then something.init()
