I think AdBlock lets you hide specific elements on a page, you could try blocking <table id="cat392">.

It looks horrid on Firefox.

Facepunch has pretty beefy servers as it is to deal with such a large forum. Not on Reddit's level, but still ought to be able to cope with an influx.

I think Garry's just been fucking with the .htaccess or whatever equivalent this software uses. It explains why the subforum URLs are different, the 403, and can cause the cache issues.
